I would give more stars if I could. Augusto and Alma are so friendly and truly a pleasure to work with (even under terrible circumstances). My vehicle looks brand new again and it's because of the quality and pride those guys take in their work. My family has used their services (more than once...) and each and every time we are more than pleased. Speed street is the place to go if you ever need paint or body work.

I had a Nissan Pathfinder that was rear ended and had a custom paint job. They mixed 9 different batches of paint until they had an exact match anf wouldn't give it back until it was right. I've done body work on cars and the professional level of work that was done was outstanding. I now have a Nissan Maxima that had to be repaired and the same level of expertise and professionalism was received when they had my car this time. I highly recommend them and will not take my vehicles anywhere else to have repairs made or custom work done.

I purchased a 2007 Roush 427R and thought the paint was pristine, with the car only having 4,100 miles on it. When I applied my wash/wax I noticed what appeared to be weather/environmental spots that looked like they went to bare metal. I was referred to Augusto Carrillo (owner) by a trusted detail person that I've used several times.

My meeting with Augusto was not what I expected. He looked over my car, explained in detail what the damage was (answers to my questions) and how the damage could be repaired. He provided me with best case scenario and worst case scenario's. I felt very much at ease with him and his staff and was very appreciative of the time and excellent customer service attitude he had, even though I thought I had a small job. I contracted with him and happened to drop in one day to see how it was going. I found him hard at work on a customer's car, setting a great example for his workers. Once completed the vehicle looked as good as it did off the show room floor (or should have looked) and I was quite impressed. The worst case scenario didn't occur and the price was very reasonable for the work they did. I will continue to utilize his services as I've never felt so at ease with a body shop, and I've dealt with quite a few. His honesty and integrity can't be matched. HIs knowledge appears to be way up there too, since the job was flawless. I can only say if you value the finished product you'd be foolish to not take your car to him for repairs and be treated to the best auto repair experience that you can have. He guarantees his work and after getting to know him you absolutely know that he will stand behind it. I have no hesitation of speaking to anyone about my experience with him and would gladly do so. Speed Street Collision is top notch! I went for an estimate on my Toyota Highlander and never had a second thought! They sat me down and explained every bit of the process to me. I knew exactly what to expect and there were no surprises....except of course how GOOD my repair looked! They went over the paperwork and used a computer program to show me exactly what they did and the parts they used or repaired. The visuals were very helpful. They are honest and professional. I will return without a doubt for custom car cleaning, tires or any other service they provide. I will spread the word on this hidden gem!

From my first conversation with them I knew I was in for a great experience. Everyone I encountered were professional and courteous. I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process and they handled everything with my insurance company. The car was finished when they said and the work was perfect. I highly recommend them for collision repair. If needed I will use them again. They have gained my trust and If anyone asks if I know a good body shop I will say, "No I know a GREAT body shop.

If you ever need a body shop, this is the place to go. The customer service is unbeatable. Augusto went above and beyond to make sure the repairs were perfect. Hopefully I won't need a body shop very often, but if and when I do, I won't hesitate to take my car back to Speed Street. It's refreshing to find a place that still treats the customer as number one.

I was very pleased with Augusto and his business is 1st Class. Very nice,honest,highly skilled person. I would not consider taking my autos anywhere else for any paint or collision work. I bought a 2010 Nissan Altima and wanted the dealership to install a spoiler and they said they send it off to a someone so they gave me Augusto's name at Speed Street. I went and made an appointment. I was in and out in no time. The spoiler looks factory installed. Works and looks great.



After the massive hail damage in April 2011 I knew I had to get dents taken care of soon. It was a given I had to take it to Speed Street, so I called Augusto to get him to explain the process and he thoroughly explained the details to me over the phone. Unlike some of the other jeks at the other body shops who acted like they didnt have time to explain the process to me.. He made the arrangements for my rental car to be there and just for me to leave my vehicle.



Had him do some major detail cleaning on the car after the dent repairs were done. He is definitely very reasonable on the wallet and class act guy.

On a recommendation from the guys in the parts department at my Ford / Lincoln dealer, I took my newly purchased 1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe to Speed Street Tuning. It is located behind Hardees just off I-85 exit 23 in Lowell, NC (Gastonia area). The owner is Augusto Carillo. His beautiful wife Alma manages the office. Their name is a little deceiving. They are really a body and custom car shop, handling both collision and custom. My car was in great shape, but needed some paint, door dings, dents, and some minor rust repaired. Augusto was clearly interested in doing exactly what I wanted, and was also sensitive to my budget (his price was very fair). For example, he called in a dentless removal specialist to handle the dents and dings who I paid separately (alot of shops would get the work done, add the work to their own bill and add their own profit). The work was amazing. Even though he had warned me that touch up paint would be visible to some degree, I had a hard time finding the spots he painted. They mix their own paint, and he had matched it perfectly. I was thrilled. Plus, they did those little extras at no charge to me, so the finished product was better than I asked for.
