Resin Composite
Bonding is a composite resin filling placed in the back teeth as well as the front teeth. Composites are the solution for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements and even changing the color of your teeth or the reshaping of teeth. Bonding will lighten any stains you may have, close up minor gaps and can be used to correct crooked teeth. Basically, bonding will cover any natural flaws applying a thin coating of a plastic material on the front surface of your teeth. After this, your cosmetic dentist will apply a bonding material and sculpt, color and shape it to provide a pleasing result. A high-intensity light then hardens the plastic, and the surface is finely polished.
Veneers
Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.
Crowns
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth – covering the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and/or to improve its appearance. The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.
Bridges
Advantages Bridges are natural in appearance, and usually require only two visits to Dr. Bischoff. If you maintain good oral hygiene, your fixed bridge should last as many as ten years or more.
Dental Bonding
A very mild etching solution is applied to your teeth to create very small crevices in the tooth’s enamel structure. These small crevices provide a slightly rough surface permitting a durable resin to bond materials to your teeth. The resin is then placed on your tooth and high-intensity light cures the resins onto your tooth’s surface – with each individual layer of resin hardening in just minutes. When the last coat has been applied to your tooth, the bonded material is then sculpted to fit your tooth and finely polished.
Restorative Dentistry
Dental implants are a restorative dentistry option that allows patients to replace missing teeth with ones that look, feel, and perform like their own. During the first step of this procedure, a doctor skilled in implant dentistry surgically places a titanium screw or post in the patient’s jaw. After the gums have healed around the embedded post, a replacement tooth is attached to the top of it.

Root Canal Treatment
The typical time for extraction appointments will be 40-60 minutes. Some factors that could affect this are how many teeth are needing to be taken out, how broken down your tooth is, and whether or not your tooth has been previously treated with a root canal. Doctors do their best to make sure you are as comfortable as you can possibly be throughout the entire procedure. If that’s not enough, he is more than willing to give you nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help calm any nerves you may have about the procedure.

It is preferable to get the deep cleaning done twice a year for the best results, and doing so can also save a lot of oral problems. Following these stages, we can treat the most

Dentures
A removable partial denture fills in the space created by missing teeth and fills out your smile. A denture helps you to properly chew food, a difficult task when you are missing teeth. In addition, a denture may improve speech and prevent a sagging face by providing support for lips and cheeks.
Overdentures
The procedure for placing mini implants is also much less invasive than the normal sized implant placement, which means healing is much quicker too. This sometimes even allows for these mini implants to be loaded with their final prosthesis on the same day they are surgically placed. These prostheses include overdentures and also single implant crowns and implant bridges in most cases as well. The main exception to this is in areas of your mouth where a lot of pressure is exerted on your teeth, such as in the back of your mouth. In places of high pressure, traditional implants may be a better option. Mini implants work especially well for replacing smaller teeth or your front teeth where there is much less force being placed on them. Another added benefit of mini implants is they can be a good option for someone with slower healing or medical conditions that make healing more difficult.

Dental Implants
Tooth removal may be needed for many reasons, including large areas of decay, severe periodontal disease, or traumatic tooth injuries. Whatever that reason may be, doctors are able to perform most extractions in our office. That means that outside of a few exceptions you won’t have to worry about going to multiple places for your dental work. Some instances where doctors may decide to refer you out to a specialist are when your wisdom teeth are not fully erupted, when an upper tooth is too close to your sinus, or when grafting and implant placement are needing to be done immediately after the extraction.

Mini implants are just like they sound, smaller versions of normal implants. In fact, they are usually only about half the size of a normal implant. Bone grafting can only do so much as far as replacing and regenerating new bone goes, so sometimes another alternative to traditional implants is needed. That’s where the mini implants come in as they need much less bone density to be placed due to their reduced size. This is good news if you are low on remaining jaw bone or have decreased bone mass as you still may have a great option to choose with mini implants. In addition to that, Dr. Sjuts will be trained to place these mini implants by March 2020.

Cosmetic Dentistry
For larger corrections Dental lab-created tooth-colored fillings require two appointments and involve making a mold of your teeth and placing a temporary filling. A dental laboratory then creates a very durable filling to custom-fit the mold made from your teeth. These fillings are typically made of porcelain. The custom-fit filling is then bonded to your tooth on your return visit. This type is even more natural looking, more durable and more stain resistant.
