I came here with my boyfriend to visit some friends in louisville and we had a great time. I knew it wouldnt be a grand hotel obviously because its a days inn but it was definitely a good upgrade to other days inns ive been to. We got the couples room or whatever its called and it comes with a jacuzzi tub! Its kind of different because its right there in the room but it made the whole weekend more romantic. The bed was queen size instead of a king but it makes sense because the jacuzzi is in the room. I spoke with the manger and he told me they recently upgraded all the rooms in the second building just last year. Overall it was a great stay for a great price. I was kind of taken aback by the other comments on this site. People seem to be giving bad reviews to this hotel because of things like no waffles or certain channels not being available but if you rate it on the room and service i would say it was decent for the price. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Had to make an emergency stop for a car sick MIL and we pulled up to the front door. The front desk employee was understanding and quick with our check in. Upon our arrival I noticed free wifi and an indoor pool. Our little girl Abby is 8 months old and LOVES the water. So I get to our room and was happily surprised at the size of the room and how nice and comfy the beds looked. I got my MIL in the bed and made sure she was OK to be alone, then my hubs and lil one left to let her rest and to do a little shopping and get something to eat. When we got back we went for a dip in the pool. We all enjoyed it!!! Nice pool...not too big and not too small. They had a hot tub as well but our lil one couldn't have withstood that. I must say we took a chance by coming but it was worth it. Thanks to all the staff there u made a potentially crappy day turn into one of the most enjoyable days I've had lately. We will be back!!!
I was very impressed with this hotel, I didn't have my hopes high as this was the first Econolodge I'd stayed at, but it's a very clean property, nice rooms, they have been upgraded, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I walked around a few times at night, and seems like a pretty safe neighborhood. Close to the River Front, Whisky Row and 4th Street Entertainment. Parking does cost $5 per night, but they do have a Security Guard on at night who walks the lot and keeps an eye on the cars. They do have a Gym, pretty nice equipment, just wish they had a Laundry Facility on premises as well, but they don't, it's a couple miles down the road. Breakfast is okay, Juice, Cold Cereal, Oat Meal and breads. I would highly recommend giving them a try if going to Louisville.
