There is no doubt that Del Frisco's has the best steak in town. They literally melt in your mouth. Unfortuneatly other options at the restaurant are not as good. My dinner salad was old iceburg lettuce that was in clumps and brown on the edges. The Blue Cheese dressing was watery and with out personality. The wine list is extremely overpriced and the selection is bland. The escagot was moist and cooked perfectly. It is a shame that such a fine dining restuarant could not come up with a better salad and dressing option. They could also sell more wines if they lowered their prices and offered a better selection. If you go ask for a waiter by the name of Steve. He is one of the best servers that I have had in Louisville.
I have been dining at Ruth's Chris for years-- and I am really surprised at the previous reviews. First of all, these types of restaurants have stan…
The food at this restaurant makes my mouth water just thinking about it! It is mine and my husbands favortie place to eat. The restaurant is pricey but the food is totally worth it! The atmosphere is great too! Low lit romatic mood setting, or for other non-couples it is a very relaxing set. Table cloths cover the tables and there is a center bar that allows for walk up seating or drink purchase while you wait for a table. Be sure to call and make reservations for the weekend or you will have to wait over an hour to get a table (usually). I would highly recommend this restaurant for anything from buisness meetings to romantic couples nights out! Whom ever you bring will be highly impressed!
I ate here for the first time last night and I was blown away. I have lived in different cities in the Midwest, and I have NEVER found a restaurant that was able to deliver BOTH seafood and steak to perfection- until now. My business partner had the steak, and I went with the fish of the day recommendation from the server. They were both mouth watering! The server told me they fly the fish in fresh every day, which I have heard before from other places but never believed until now. This has become my new favorite restaurant in Louisville! I will not be going downtown to the "other" steakhouses now that I found this gem on the east side!
