If you don't need copies and just need to mail a package, count on the UPS store to be more expensive than either Fed Ex/Kinkos or the US Postal Service. It is to your benefit if you can get away with insuring your package for a $100 or less because that amount is included in the price you pay for shipping. However, if your package is over $100 in value, expect to pay inflated insurance costs. Forgot to tape your package? Expect to pay at least $1.00 even if you only need one strip of tape. Need to have your item boxed? Hope you have plenty of cash in your checking account. The UPS Store will gladly accept your unused foam peanuts with no reimbursement or even a dollar off coupon for shipping a package. However, they will turn around and charge the next customer full price for the peanuts you just gave them for free. These are not stores that define customer service. In most cases the employees are indifferent and uninterested in going the extra mile. I don't know if these are franchise or corporate owned stores, either way very little emphasize is put on going above and beyond for the customer. As much as possible, I try to take my business elsewhere.
