The Groom Room

Never a bit of trouble as mentioned in other reviews. I have been taking my dogs to the Groom Room since 1996. I have taken 3 of my furbabies there and if anything they love them too much. My current furbaby loves going there. I have taken 2 Norfolk Terriers and 1 Yorkie there and they have come home with looking great. The others are old reviews. Try them out and see what a good job they do.

My yorkie has come home from Connie's Groom Room with fleas twice, the only two times he has ever had them, by the way. I understand that comes with the territory, but twice is too much.

I would never go back here and I am extremely dissatisfied. I took my dog there for the first time on Friday. We picked him up later that day and thought everything was fine. Once we got him home we found a large gash on his leg. We took him back to the Groom Room and asked if they knew what happened. They admitted to doing this to our dog and apologized. However, if they knew about this they should have informed us as soon as we picked him up. We opted out of receiving a stitch for his cut because we would have had to put him under, but the cut was large enough to where that was an option. These people are not professionals and should not be working on animals.

We took our elderly chocolate lab mix to get bathed, brushed, and have her nails trimmed. She looks FANTASTIC. This dog is an enormous shedder and even 2 weeks later she looks great and our rugs are still clean and hair free. She gets a very sassy skip in her step when she feels good and knows she looks good, so I know she was well cared for while she was with them. The groomer even commented twice on what a great dog she is.



When I got home, I realized I had dropped her off on the wrong day. The staff NEVER mentioned this and totally accommodated us in spite of my error. Great service.

Best Around. Never a problem with these folks. My dog loves the staff and always has a good experience. Very clean. I have been to others and they just don't measure up to the Groom Room.

This is the worst groomer in Louisville! The hurt the animals and they come out smelling worse than they came in. All of the employee's smoke and the animals reak of the smell. If you care about your pet at all you will go somewhere else.

walking into Z's for canines!!! Great staff that seems to truly care 'bout the hounds!! Oh and it is very clean! HIGHLY recommended!!
