In 1969, two brothers and their close friend decided to leave their roots in eastern Kentucky and move to Louisville to build a better life and a brighter future. This dream began with pairing a small business loan and their expertise on Volkswagen repair. Their success in automotive repair in Louisville grew and quickly established a reputation for the city’s top choice for high-quality repair. Today, more than 45 years later, the St. Matthews Imports brand has grown to four locations including an auto repair shop in St. Matthews, a collision repair shop in Springhurst, a collision repair center in St. Matthews and a marine repair center. We’re proud of expertise in auto repair, collision, and marine repair and sales. We continue to be a family-owned and operated company with the second generation in full control of business operations.
