I had an appointment scheduled to have my refrigerator repaired. I was called 1 hour AFTER my scheduled window began, letting me know the technician would not be coming, and they would like to reschedule my appointment. Being that I work during the day, I had taken vacation time to be home during the appointment, and would have to take additional vacation to be home the next time they scheduled the repair. I asked what they would do for compensation for the inconvenience and lost time caused me and they said nothing: "If the appointment was rescheduled, I'm sure it was for a good reason." The customer service representative continued with "this is Sears policy". And to top if off, the rep was very unfriendly and unwillingly to discuss the matter. They were very undisturbed by causing these problems for me and were even more unconcerned that I canceled my rescheduled appointment because I didn't want to pay someone with such terrible disrespect for its customers. I will not go back to Sears for any repair needs due to the lack of customer service and their inability to actually show-up during the 4-hour window they provided to me.
