We really have enjoyed our bathroom, with the new update It's beautiful. We want to thank you for such a great job!
Always impressed when I see the work of Bowles Painting! Beautiful work, they turned my mothers 80 year old claw foot ub into the most beautifully restored tub I've ever seen. Numerous friends and family members have used them from referrals and all have been by far impressed. They've done everything from a pool to wrought iron patio pieces to full blown tile bathrooom redos. I'm not sure how on earth this company could ever get a bad review thats for sure. And to the gentleman that stated his warranty should have been good until 6/12 because he bought his house in 09, well the warranty is up. Its 2013. Not to mention the tub was refinished by the sellers who obviously did not leave instructions on how to care for a tub that has had electrostatic done, because all of the people I know that had their tubs and tile etc. done had instructions on how to care for them being that certain care can damage them. As I said already, we are all highly impressed with the work that was done and very few businesses across the country do this type of painting. I will continue to refer everyone I know to them!
Don't use them. Find another company for this service. I have attempted to have my bathtub fixed by Bowles Electrostatic Painting which is still under warranty as of 6/7/2012. I bought my house in 2009 (which was an estate and no one lived there). The executor of the estate had the bathtub and tile painted over to give the bathroom a new look. Bowles did the work which came with a 3yr. warranty but unfortunately the paint is now chipping pretty bad. The owner refuses to honor the warranty stating it would only be transferrable if the executor would have called to transfer the warranty when I bought the house. Therein lies the problem... I have the documentation from Bowels regarding the 3yr warranty and how to properly care for the paint. No where on the paper work, expressed nor implied, does it state the warranty is non-transferable or that it has to be transferred by the seller of the property to the buyer and approved by Bowels. I was told there was nothing they could do for me and I would need to pay the full price of $289 to have it repaired. The associate explained to me "this is how warranties work and no warranty is transferable on anything I buy". His statement is totally false! Any warranty or documentation for a warranty I have ever had always clearly expresses whether or not the warranty is transferrable. I am fully aware of the law and contractual agreements furthermore I understand a warranty is a contractual agreement and is to be honored by both parties involved. I asked to speak with the manager ***** ***** but was not allowed to and was told he would tell me the same thing. Bowles obviously has some issues and does not honor the warranty offered on the product and service they sell as you will see from other complaints with this company. Apparently I'm not the only customer that has had a problem with attempting to get Bowles to stand behind their product.
