        If you're looking for children's activities that are entertaining and educational, Barbara's Crafty Tales is for you! We don't need a stage - we've done parties and programs in living and family rooms, finished and unfinished basements, classrooms and garages.

        ** We offer on-site 1.5 hour creative presentations for children, encouraging them to use their imaginations. Costumes (worn over clothes) and props are provided as children perform a narrated story while sitting in a large circle, then each child makes a story related art project to take home We also provide presentations for in-school classroom studies, Pre-Schools, Scouts, camp, day care, after school programs, family reunions, or any occasion. We bring: - Party/Program Leader - Activities, including unique costumes and props - Non-toxic craft materials - Tables, floor coverings and smocks

        Barbara's Crafty Tales was an ...

        Barbara's Crafty Tales was an awesome program for the Cub Scouts. Barbara Hodge (owner) told a marvelous story and some of the scouts participated with costumes. She had them learn words in a foreign language, brought items to show relating to the story, and did a wonderful, colorful craft that also was related to the tale. I would recommend Barbara's Crafty Tales to Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, School Programs and Birthday parties. The Scouts even earned some of their achievements!

        What a Marvelous & Original Idea!

        My son went to a birthday party with more than 16 boys and girls and it was the calmest party that I have even been to. The kids had a ball, the costumes were amazing and creative, and even the parents enjoyed the story. This party was not only educational, it was fun! We will be using Barbara's Crafty Tales for our son's birthday party!
