I have had several family members assessed by Edelson and Associates, and they have been wonderful people. There is not one of these individuals that I wouldn't trust to see my family for therapy or testing. That being said, I would like to address Cheri A.'s opinion of the office. Ma'am, I hate to be the one to inform you of this, but your insurance company offers no guarantee of payment for anything you have done, at Edelson's or anywhere else. You can go to your doctor's office today and be denied for a simple blood test, even if they have covered it yesterday. (This happened to me last month.) There is always a disclaimer in your insurance policy that clearly states that you can be denied coverage at their discretion. Unlike regular doctors, these people actually tell you up front that, because of what they do and how insurance sees them, there is a chance that you will have to pay some out of pocket. Now, wouldn't you rather have someone tell you that in the beginning, instead of getting a bill for over a thousand dollars because your insurance company has decided that your diagnosis doesn't meet their healthcare requirements? But now for my real reason for posting. I cannot say enough good things about their child staff. I have had three children tested there, by three different psychologists, and each one was knowledgeable, kind, and very caring to make sure that we received the right guidance for treatment. Thank you so much, Edelson and Associates!

Reading some of the comments on here, I must admit I was skeptical. BUT when I took into consideration that some of these people can not spell correctly and they probably did not get the service THEY think they deserve at that time. Having once worked in this exact field, I can look at things in a different light. It is a very small office but is NEVER crowded. Knowing that MOST doctor offices book patients 2-3 every 15 minutes, I have been in and out of the office in no longer than 1 hour and that was with Dr. Johnson spending an incredible amount of time with my oldest daughter going over family medical history (her father passed away at a young age). I will admit he is a little persistent with baby feedings and quantity, but that shows that he is caring about our growing epidemic of obesity (myself included). The staff is friendly and understanding of my little ones "stranger danger" personality, I know how frustrating that can be when your just trying to get a temperature :) The rooms are small, but clean... I don't even ever smell a dirty diaper. Even with my knowledge of vaccines, I still asked certain questions JUST to get his perspective on it, and he would always answer me with great detail. I would suggest anyone to go see Dr. Johnson. We have been going there for a year now and my husband and I LOVE it there. I am thankful that I did not take into consideration the previous posts.
Hi; My name is Jerry Schafer. My father was a patient at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, Ky Oct. 27th until he passed early Monday Nov. 2nd. I can't say enough good about the nurses on the fifth floor during his (our) time there. Dad was in three different wings on that floor during his stay. The professional attitudes of ALL the nurses we encountered was unprecedented. You have to understand...we have a very large family and we had several members of the family there at all times. The staff NEVER once seemed upset, irritated or put out of place because of our presence. We no doubt caused confusion, lack of space for them to do their jobs and just overall chaos at times with our chatter and overcrowding of their space. I commend them for putting up with this family of 13 kids, 32 grandkids and 31 great grandkids that took over the fifth floor during this difficult time of losing our father. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, THANKS!!!
