The mansion and grounds are gorgeous and very well kept. Our room was beautiful and it had a nice big bathroom. The inn keeper and owners are super nice and make you feel welcome. The breakfast was yummy! I highly recommend walking around the Old Louisville area. It's incredibly beautiful with unique architecture that feels heavenly. The room had a small analog TV, I do wish it had a larger flat screen. However, overall, I feel like in comparison, going to a hotel just feels like I'm staying at the "Wal-mart" of accommodations. You are just a number and they want to charge you for parking and crazy prices for food. B&Bs are definitely the way to go!
My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn at Woodhaven for an in-town getaway. I cannot imagine a better, more relaxing place to stay. The innkeeper has thought of everything and put finishing touches in every last corner. My favorite part however, would have to be the amazing breakfast. There was not one thing I could have wanted that wasn't on the menu. I am very grateful my husband played hooky with me to have some R&R and can't wait to go back.
Beautiful historic home with the best breakfast ever. We've spent anniversaries there, and had the other guests ask why we'd stay at a B&B in our own town. When you have a place this wonderful nearby - why travel??
THE BEST B & B! Old victorian charm. Very beautiful. Be prepared to be spoiled rotten! :-)
