I just had lunch and Sunshine was amazing!!! And when they found out it was my bday, they gave me a slice of cheesecake on the house. I'll definitely be coming in again.

We've been here twice and had fabulous exprerence both times. Our waitress (Sunshine) understands the menu extremely well and provided suggestions that were spot on. We'll be back many times. What a great place.

This place has a great lunch menu for around $10 both sushi and hot dishes. You get a salad, egg roll and choice of entree. Haven't had anything here that wasn't good. It won't blow your mind but if you are looking for good sushi and midrange prices then go for lunch. Unfortunately they discontinued the chocolate covered fortune cookies!
Wokcano is a happening Japanese Chinese fusion restaurant with culinary delights to satisfy appetites from sushi to dumplings. Their double kung pao and shrimp tempura is specially tasty. They are open very late so that is definitely a plus. There is also valet parking available.

DO NOT order from this restaurant! WAY overpriced and ridiculously small portions of sushi. We ordered delivery from here and an $8 dollar roll consisted of 6 teeny tiny little bites of sushi. They also charged a hidden ""packaging fee"" that we were not notified of. When my outrageous $50 order came I was shocked and thought they had forgotten half of all the rolls. I never, ever write bad reviews as I think it's just not a good thing to do. But I wish I would have known what a scam this restaurant was before hand. Thought you would like to be warned.

Great service, amazing sushi and vegetable rice. The downside is their restrooms they would definitely a paint job.\r \r

I dined at Wokcano for lunch with some friends recently, and although the decor was trendy and pleasant, the whole experience lacked any kind of ""spark"". It felt like a chain restaurant with 4-star restaurant prices. Some of the dishes we tried were pretty tasty - the shrimp and rice dishes were good. But the salmon was extremely disappointing. It was small and dry and flavorless and what could best be described as grey in color. It was accompanied by asparagus that had more flavor. The rolls were okay, but not worth the price. It really feels like you are paying more for the atmosphere and is if they are trying to justify the quality of the food by charging high prices. Wockano is definitely not the worst you can do, but it's not somewhere I would make an effort to return to. Also, for 4 people, for lunch - for 2 entrees, 2 rolls, and a rice dish, the bill was over $85!

I recently went to Wokano since well, downtown has precisley jack worth of places to eat. I walk in and am greeted by these pretty cute hosts. I was seated almost immediately and the place was slammed. I arrived with about 4 people. The waitresses in this place are REDICULOUS< meaning HOT!!! The blond chick that helped us out, amazing legs! . WOW!!! And as were looking around we notice some other hot waitresses as well. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. We tried every one of her recommendations and loved it! We ordered Black Pepper Mignon and a Double KP and also had some sushi and sashimi. Everything was timed well and we would of ordered more but we found ourselves stuffing it all down. It is amazing food and priced pretty well. One complaint to the managers though...... why the hell is your staff running around like maniacs?..... I suppose thats how it is, but I would love to have your hot waitresses sit down and enjoy a meal on us!!! Thanks for such an GORGEOUS day! Customer fo Lifeeeeeee!

Wokcano is a generally mediocre Japanese/Chinese restaurant that should be avoided unless there is nothing else open. The sushi in particular can be described as pathetic. It's over-priced and under-served. Believe you me, they know there's not much open after midnight. Enjoy your six-piece Red Dragon roll for $13.

I used to love ordering delivery from this place. They had an online form, and my order was correct every single time. However, I've ordered twice since the place reopened in its new location, and I am completely dissatisfied. Both times, items were messed up. This time, we called and let them know they completely forgot 3 of our items. They offered to give us a credit. As in, we can come later and they'll give us the food we already paid for. Seriously? I politely told the man that I would not be ordering from them again, so no thanks. My boyfriend called and asked to speak to a manager, which in itself was quite the task since the person on the phone said there was no manager or assistant manager available. He finally spoke to him, and the guy was not the least bit understanding. There's nothing worse than expecting a tasty meal for an hour and a half and then getting disappointed. Okay, there is, but it's still up there. If you want some Chinese delivery, there are cheaper places with comparable quality and better customer service- I suggest picking one of them.

For $12(which includes a good tip), you can get a great lunch! The combination lunch specials there are all under $7, and you even get a salad, an egg roll, and a frosted fortune cookie for dessert. I usually get water or tea, and leave about $4. The orange chicken is the best I've ever had, and very spicy when you get a hold of those red peppers! It's never too busy, and I love the bamboo hut booth! Nice Staff, very prompt.

What happened to our little neighborhood gem??? Tastes like it's gone corporate and we've given this place so many chances...Ordered delivery a few days ago, and not one single thing was good. Chewy nori in the sushi, flavorless ""spicy"" tuna, dry unagi, and thick, doughy, bland chicken dumplings that were actually burned to a char on the bottom, seriously. To top it off, all the rolls and the seared ahi ""specialty"" was ICE cold, suggesting they had it all premade and stacked in a cooler...called to complain about our $100 order, and the response was an offer of 20% off our NEXT order! Ya, next time. Right. Go across the street to Sushi Roku, the prices aren't much higher but the quality is. And for chinese, Mandarette is a far better choice.

I try sushi from all over and I have not yet come acrossed a better shrimp tempura roll. The atmosphere of Wokano is nice and quiet and dark and the sushi usually comes out pretty quickly for a sushi restaurant. The tiger roll is also very delicious and the prices aren't too ridiculous.

I'm not a huge fan of pan-asian foods, call me a purist, but this restaurant was actually quite good. I loved the soups (every single one, though the thai tom yum was a bit weak for my chili-inclined tastes) and the sushi rolls? Nothing short of divine. I tend to be picky about sushi rolls and this place managed to keep me happy with not only the taste, but the presentation of each roll (very important to me!). I especially liked their dragon an catapillar rolls! Give the thai milk tea a try, if you're not watching your sugar and fat intake! That drink is both thick and deliciously awesome. Probably one of my favorite things there!

I don't exactly know if the place is suitable for children or not, but i went with my family, and we had a great time. Parkings not exactly great, but the food was totally worth it. I live in seattle, and there's only a few restraunts up here that can compare.

Make sure you order rice. The ordrs do not include rice. Last week lunch took 2 hours to arrive. Called back no discount no nothing. This time when no rice came with the order they called back and told me that it was MY FAULT that I did not get rice and that they would not bring any. When the luch order the week before was addressed the girl on the phone said she did not know where the order was and then started crying saying that other orders were missing and she did not know what to do.\r \r Order at your own risk!!!!

They pretend to not speak english and mess up your order. Also, you will wait more than an hour to get your order which will be incomplete. Don't bother ordering from Wok on Fire. They are a rip off and you will regret it.

Especially when presented with a menu such as the one here at Wokcano... When you really want to get serious about your sushi, this is the place to go! You can't possibly get bored with their selection of rolls, and when you're in the mood to dabble with several things (which most sushi eaters do) they have endless options of sushi trays/meals. The ambiance is great for dates (especially a first one- since it's so dark). Service is decent- it has the potential to be great if you get a personable server, unfortuneatly they all don't seem to have the same repertoire...

Check out Raymond-san Sushi Chef! Best sushi taste and look and very fresh. His unique style and good taste brings out the sushi at Wokcano. Good service, quiet and intimate restaurant. Awesome is all i have to say!
