Tacos Baja Ensenada is the place to get some authentic Baja eats. I had the 2 Taco combo: (1) Fish Taco (1) Shrimp Taco, beans, rice, and a drink for about $6. Both the Fish Taco and Shrimp Taco are lightly battered and fried. They sit on top of two small corn tortillas and topped off with a little spicy sauce and cabbage. Finger licking good!!!!
I also had the Mixed Seafood soup which is an awesome meal. It's loaded with Shrimp, Fish, Conch meat, Octopus, and more.... Truly one of the best soups I've had outside of being in Mexico.
The service is quick and fast, and don't worry if you don't speak Spanish because the girl at the counter is very helpful and bilingual.
The inside space is a bit small, but there is plenty of outdoor patio seating. The place looks newly painted and well maintained.
We'll definitely be going again soon!

Aside from the tacky green decor these are by far the best fish and shrimp tacos I have ever had. I was introduced to ths place about ten years ago. Since then I got my siblings going there, along with their in-laws, my parents, old friends and ex-boyfriends. Their delish and inexpensive. Worth the drive from anywhere!

Probably the best foodie value in all of LA are the 99 cent fish tacos at TBE on Wednesdays. Two deep fried fresh fish fillets with shredded cabbage, diced tomatos, fresh cilantro and TBE's special sauce wrapped in two homemade corn tortillas. Wash it down with a cold Mexican beer or horchata soda. Other great menu items include the shrimp tostada that features probably 30 fat shrimps piled high on a warm corn tortilla or the squid tostada. No matter how busy this place gets, you are always greeted with a smile from the genuinely warm and friendly staff. You really would have to go to Ensenada to get food as good and authentic as TBE.
