This is by far my favorite Mex...

This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles.. I have been coming here for years and it never let's me down.. I love their Chimichanga and Taco combination plate. Chips and salsa is addicting and their Wet Burritos are also yummy. Margaritas and Piña Colada are also good.. there is a wait but it's all worth it...

Great mexican food

Like a trip to old mexico, this restaurant has everything. Home made tortillas, excellent margaritas, great chips and salsa. I tried many menu items and liked them all. Then I tried the shrimp in garlic butter, and I was hooked. Now that is all that I order. Get there as early as you can. They fill up fast, and the best seats are up front. Avoid the tables in the back.

A Great, Solid Mexican Restaurant

Love the shredded beef tacos, the tampico steak, and the flour tortillas. I also enjoyed their albondigas soup. I've been here countless times over the last 7 years at all times of the day. The staff is largely the same still, which is a good sign.

I find it to be a nice, reliable place to meet up with friends, with something for everybody. They also constantly change the decorations for various holidays, making for a fun, festive atmosphere. Most recently, I was there for lunch on Halloween and the staff had dressed up in costumes.

Wait can be a little long sometimes during peak dinner hours. Parking is mostly street parking, but I'll park across the street in the bank lot after the bank is closed.

If you like "Jerry McGuire", this is the restaurant where Tom Cruise's character takes Renee Zellweger's character.

I have no idea why people like this place. The food is soupy and bland. They put canned vegetables on the rice and beans (yeah the little cut up squared ones that i ate when i was 5) Most Mexican sit down restaurants in LA are just awful and overpriced. Maybe my tastes are more inclined to the tex-mex style restaurants of the mid west and east coast.

Great Mexican food.

The lines can be long during dinner hours. The food is very good although we have noticed the prices creeping up quite a bit recently. The waitstaff is always attentive and the atmosphere is good with a Mexican family restruant feel. Parking is a hassle, only a few spaces in back and no parking at the restruant next door. You cant always count on the neighborhood streets and parking across the street at BofA is fine if you want to dodge traffic on Centinela.

It is good food and value, the kids love the aquariums.

The Best Mexican food in So Cal.

It's been years since I have been there but have not forgot those incredible homemade tortilla's and marinated carrots! I had forgotten the name since I haven't been there in about 10 years. I tried finding it today since my hubby and I were in the area, we ended up at another restaurant that was good but not what I was hoping for. If the owner considers more locations I recommend Palmdale! A great area for new restaurants and lots of people. We need a Paco's Taco's out here. Pleeaase!

Can't get enough

mmmmmmmm so good. I can't wait to again. I want to eat their salsa and carrots all night long. The food was excellent and atmosphere is cool. I take everyone there who is a visitor to LA. They love it!

Crowded. Great comfort food. Nice aquariums!

If you would like to have a chile relleno that is little bit different than usual, try this one. It is different in the kind of sauce or stew that is on it.

They have about 5 different kinds of calamari plates. They have excellent queso fundido. They have the best home made fresh tortillas in town. They are family owned and operated. The setting is unique and interesting, particularly if you don't mind being surrounded by many dead animal carcuses that are taxidermied.

Carne esada is great!

Rice is some of the best.

Cripy beef tacos are out of this world!!

Chips are very good.

Margaritas are highly acclaimed, but quite acidic and the price charged for the cadillac version is a bit too pricey.

After you have waited for your turn to take a table, you will get exceptionally speedy service. Food will come very quickly.
