A few days before signing the rental lease for at this building, I was shown quite a nice studio in great conditions: brand new carpet, new appliances, new kitchen cabinets, new plumbing fixtures, closets, AC unit, etc. A few days later I was given a smaller dumpster in a pretty bad state of decay. The picture shown at
is the spout in the bathtub of the apartment. The carpet is old, very dirty, has stains and has hair on it. The AC was rusty and slow. The kitchen cabinets are so old, no one cabinet in the apartment is made of wood as the ones shown on their website. There are a few cracks on the inside part of them. Two sections of the kitchen cabinets have old chewing gum stuck on them. The apartment has obviously not been cleaned. All of the bath tub plumbing was in the conditions as the piece in the picture shown on the page above mentioned. Simply disgussting. I requested to cancel the lease. I moved out three days after. Yet, now 18 days later the property management refuses to cancel the lease, and refuses to refund any of the money I paid. A real work of art.
Just to warn all my fellow renters out there these Management company is Allison Management INC,
located at 2 S. Biscayne Blvd., Miami, Fl.
Unfortunately they manage a few properties in the US, and most likely you will not see their logo on the property. Some of those properties are http://www.10401wilshire.com/ , building located in CA,
http://www.madisonhollywood.com/ AKA Madison Dumpsters, located in Hollywood, CA
the 2 S. Biscayne Blvd. building. located in Miami, FL.
My advice is to simply stay away from them or you might simply get both ripped off and abused.
