Global One Ltd.

GlobalOne is exceptional and I would highly recommend them to serious talent who fit the requirements for a competitive market. I am very satisfied and happy with their customer service, the photoshoot and the communication+professionalism of the team in and of itself.

lol, does global one write their own reviews? Who is Natalie Caruso and why did she write a review from Global One's account? lol. I cant believe Global One is writing their own reviews. Just goes to show they got something to hide. Scroll down to the last review and you'll see what I'm talking about. Talk about an EPIC FAIL. LOL

I went down to LA to have a photoshoot with their photographer that cost me quite a bit of money. Within 3 months they have not gave me any auditions.

Ok I feel it's necessary to tell you about our experience with this company, and hopefully this review will help others to choose other more reputable companies. This company is not a Talent Agency, they say they are a management company. They are not SAG recognized! The owner is Sunny Chae/Sun C as per her 5 star Yelp review of her own company Global One Seattle, who is based in Los Angeles, CA and Jaysen Kim/Lee photographer/ World Wide Star Search Talent website head/Entertainment Powerhouse/Studio Icon, and Marina F., who is based in Seattle. Please be aware and DO NOT fall for the Christian facade they have created.



We were introduced to this company through a co-worker. When clients first sign up, You are pressured to pay about $1,600 for photos taken through the company's photographer, Jaysen Kim then he changed his name and now goes by Jaysen Lee?Then, they make you sign up for World Wide Star Search "Talent Website" which is $10.00 a month billed to your credit card. They tell you this is the only way you can submit your auditions. Well, it turns out this World Wide Star Search is run by the "photographer", Jaysen Kim/Lee.



Global One then provides a poorly written contract, per the terms of the contract, Global One retains 20% Per job and the client receives the balance. After we signed the contract, they tried to change their commission terms via an email from Marina F. After 6 months between our two children we got 2 jobs. And have not been paid by Global One for either job. Every time we inquire about payment, they have an excuse. One of the jobs shot in September of 2014 and now at the end of December 2014 we have still not been paid. The other job shot in October 2014 and the check was send directly from the Production Company (Thank God), or we would have not received this money either.



We also paid $1800 for head shots, comp cards and a portfolio, back in October 2014 and now at the end of December 2014 have not received any items. After asking numerous times about the items and just getting more excuses we asked in writing several times for a refund and received a rude and insulting email from the "photographer", Jaysen Kim/Lee. We were also pressured for our 2 children to attend a 6 week "acting class", for ANOTHER $1390.00. It was supposed to be 2 hours a week for 6 weeks. After forking over the $1390.00, After the first week, we received an email from Marina from Global One stating, "the 2 hour 6 week class was going to be cut to only 1 hour per week" for the younger children under 18. So instead of receiving 12 total hours for $1390.00 our kids only received 6 hours of class for the same $1390.00 we had already paid for the advertised 12 hour class??? The adults who paid the same amount as our kids did still were given the 2 hours per week for 6 weeks that we paid for.??? Again, when asked about a refund we were given the run around.



From our experience this is not a Talent Management Company. This is a Company who uses a Christian facade to scam you out of as much money as they can as long as they can, until you wise up and realize what is actually going on. If you do happen to book any jobs, you will not be paid. Save your money and your children's ( or your) feeling and DO NOT be fooled as we were.





Our recommendation is do NOT use this company. The number of poor reviews here should speak for itself.

if there were a way to give this company negative reviews I would. First and foremost I received several call backs from this "management group", it's not like i was denied at all. I do, however, feel the need to exploit the truth because I personally hate wasting my time and would not want others to have to undergo the same treatment. Global one is probably the most un-godly agency I have ever had contact me, the Christian stuff is all a joke here. I mean they call themselves "global one"..... that alone is incredibly suspicious since the Bible preaches against things that are global and united... aren't we suppose to NOT be a part of this world. I'm telling you this "agency" or "management group" has a very no questions asked work ethic. They do not have it together. Whatsoever.



In addition, I have heard girls say that it feels like getting a pedicure at Global One; the ladies always talk bad about the clients in another language. Well thats how it feels at Global One. It seems like they care about only themselves. Trust me, they only care about what is "good" for them.

PRICELESS!!!

I have been a client with Global One for a few years now and have been in the LA market for a year in a half. In that time because of my management team; I have landed a commercial agent, auditioned for feature films and numerous national commercials including my first major principal booking for Little Caesars Pizza in a national spot. Global One really believes in me and treats me as a member of their family. They really care about their clients and provide useful, effective direction for your career; they don't treat you as just another number. I couldn't recommend a better management firm :) I love having Marina Furuta as my manager.

Global One really cares about it's people. I would never have been able to go out for some the auditions I've been on if I didn't have representation. Global One has fought long and hard for me, and the result has been that I have booked a couple of films that are going to film festivals and a national commercial. I've auditioned for pilots for Disney, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and recently a leading role in a new film starring Eric Roberts. I could never have done that on my own. When things weren't working out, they didn't give up on me. We discussed everything and made changes. There are a million people out there trying to do this, sometimes you have to make a small change in order to stand out. We did that and it worked. They care about us clients, because we are all a family now. I am a loyal supporter of Global One because they have been loyal to me and really helped accelerate my career.

What a SCAM!!! They have been suckering people for years. Try looking up What's New Inc., or how about CNC 2000. These are several of their former names. They hafe filied bankruptcy several times, gone out of business, changed names and started over. Want you to get pictures with their photographers, which cost quite a bit of $. When you do book a job, good luck getting paid.

For those of you that have been lucky enough to be considered Global One Ltd., be thankful! When I was first contacted by Global One to be represented, I thought this was a dream come true. But I didn’t decide to sign up right away. While I was being considered, I did my homework. I read all the reviews, good and bad. Then I wrote down questions about bad reviews that concerned me. When I told them about my concerns and what I had read online, they were very open, honest and respected that I checked into them. They appreciated that I did my homework, instead of following them blindly. They were able to answer all my questions and talk to me about all my concerns, confidently and honestly. Joining Global One is a decision that I don’t regret at all. They work hard for you, making sure that they are doing all they can to get your name out there. When you do get jobs, they are there to make sure that you get the best contract possible and that you aren’t being taken advantage of. Take this into consideration when you are thinking about having Global One represent you. Also think about this, most people that are happy don’t write reviews, but 90% of people that are upset do. The people that are writing bad reviews about Global One are most likely upset for one of two reasons. The first reason would be that they didn’t get signed by Global One and they are mad about it or they are still earning residual for past projects and think they don’t have to pay Global One their percentage. I mean lets make this perfectly clear, if an agent/manager gets you a job, they get paid for that job as long as you do!!! I can’t tell you to sign with Global One, but I don’t want bad reviews that aren’t giving you the whole story to sway you one way or the other. Especially since this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity for you.

Global One is one of the best talent management companies I have ever met. I feel very blessed to find them, and I refer Global One to all the talent who are seeking for representation. =)

In most cases, you have to pay for the advice they provide free of charge. I feel extremely comfortable getting career advice and anytime I call, they are always pleasant and professional. When I needed a new Agent, Global One was instrumental in locating an agent. They did not just find any Agency, but one of the top Agencies in LA. Some people believe that everything should be given to them on a silver platter. Wake up people, you have to work too. I can say ... My son and I started with Global One several years ago. You do not have to believe me, but over time if you survive in this industry, you will realize that what I've said here holds true.

Global One is a company you can believe in. They truly believe in doing things by following the grace of God to bring blessings to their talent and creating a positive message.

One thing I noticed and disagree with when they have their audition is that they CATTLE people for audition and at the same time tries to pick up talents even though they might already have agents and managers.

I told my child's agent not to send us on their auditions.
