I went to Tart last night for a friend's party and the food and atmosphere were both great. The menu has a Southern flare to it with its Fried Green Tomatoes, Sweet Potato Fries, Corn Bread Muffins, Crawfish Spring Rolls and of course, Southern Fried Chicken.
I personally tried the Fried Green Tomatoes, Fries with special dipping sauces, Upside Down Nachos and the Tart Chicken Sliders - voted best slider in LA by Channel 7 news - and you will know why once you try them as well. I ...view morewill definitely come here again, especially since its located right across the street from the Grove and Farmer's Market - can walk right across.
The restaurant has what looks to be a small space for indoor seating, but we were outside on the patio, which had a ton of tables and chairs to choose from. Highly recommend this place for dinner and drinks, but also heard they have an amazing brunch menu as well that I must check out.view less
Had a breakfast meeting there and although pleasant, took forever! There were four of us and our waitress couldn't be bothered nor apologetic for the poor service. Wouldn't meet there again. There are much better places for b'fast in LA
