Bridges
A fixed bridge is one or more replacement teeth attached to the natural teeth next to them. Once it's in place, the bridge is not removed. Periodontal Surgery
Periodontal surgery takes place in the dentist's office. You will go home soon after it is completed. To control pain you'll be given local anesthesia.You may also have a sedative (medication to help you relax). Be sure to arrange in advance for a ride home.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
You will have little or no memory of the experience, even oral surgery or a root canal procedure. You probably won’t remember any sounds or smells. You will relax for up to five or six hours after taking the pill. The time you are relaxing will vary depending on your needed treatment.
Jaw Surgery
You just had orthognathic surgery. This istreatment that reshapes the jaws to improve their form and function. Your job now is to keep yourself comfortable and help your body heal quickly. Make sure to get plenty of calories and protein. Get up and move around, but avoid strenuous activity. Be sure to get lots of rest. Keep your mouth and teeth cleanto help the incisions heal.
Flap Surgery
Pocket reduction begins with flap surgery. The gum is separated from the tooth and later reattached in a new position. In most cases, osseous surgery is also performed. This involves reshaping and smoothing the bone. After treatment is complete, the gumline will most likely be lower, leaving more of the tooth exposed. If the root is exposed, ongoing treatment with fluoride or another material may be needed to reduce sensitivity.
Gum Surgery
Gum surgery. Gum surgery is a way to remove all deep deposits of plaque and tartar. It may be done for advanced infections that don't respond to other types of treatments.
