Wow is all I have to say!
I went to Chaz Dean Studio not sure what to expect, and simply enamored by the grounds. It's like a hidden gem in Hollywood!
I have lived in L.A. 8 years and have been looking for someone who rivals my New York stylist. I finally found her! SHIRI is the best!
I went to her for a cut and color and came out of the experience feeling sexy and stylish.
After serving me a fabulous tea, she began her magic. All I knew was that I wanted to look ""sexy,"" and she did it. She created a beautiful color that was striking and sophisticated. Her cut was amazing. She gave me body in the back, color that fit the season, and I left the salon feeling like i should get out on the town and capitalize on my hotness before I slept and messed it up!
I highly recommend Shiri as a stylist and a colorist. I have finally found my L.A. person!

I have been one of Shiri's clients for about 7 years. I follow here wherever she goes. I have seen her progress into an amazing stylist. In my opinion, you've either got it, or you don't. Well, Shiri nailed it. She puts up with my flip flopping, and how critical I am, and particular with my hair. Believe me, no one has patience for this hair mama, but Shiri just laughs it off and makes me feel at ease. She doesn't ever cut to much, or cut just to cut. She tells me what she would like to do, but respects what I want done. She isn't pushy. She is a great conversationalist, and wonderful spirit to be around. oh, and she has the best laugh! I love this salon too. It is ambient and comfortable. I love how Chaz's dogs are always there too. The staff is polite and very hospitable. I always get a fresh cup of coffee within seconds of entering. I love this place, and the staff.

Amazing Experience! Ask for Shiri. You can't go wrong. My husband is always teasing me about how I bounce from salon to salon because I'm impossible to please but low and behold I've finally found this little gem of a spot. Shiri took fantastic care of me!

Shiri has been doing my hair for years and I am Always so happy with what she's done! She'll listen to what you want instead of just doing something. She's a great hair dresser and I'd follow her any where. The salon is just excuisite! You do not feel like you are in the heart of Los Angeles. It's like a vacation to get your hair done!

I've been to the Chaz Dean Salon on several occasions (never had a cut, but their blowouts are awesome) and each time it's been sucha treat -- or should I say, retreat. It really feels like you've stepped into some old-fashioned cottage-y paradise filled with flowers and plants and pretty little stone walkways. The salon is actually comprised of 2 old houses from the 20's that sit next door to one another. (The salon's adjacent bungalow is the 'lifestyle' spot where you can buy candles and things.) You may recognize Chaz from QVC, where he's recently begun hawking his Wen products, which is like his quasi-all-natural hair products that are like a shampoo & conditioner all-in-one without the sulfates that dry out your hair. The whole QVC was a bit of a turnoff for me, but anyway, I highly recommend this place -- people are always nice and the product is pretty good (not for every day though) and they do great blowouts!
