I wasn't even going to write this, but because I had a great experience here (not related to the service, mind you), I called to see if I could maybe get someone at the restaurant to send me a menu as a keepsake of that day, whether it be a real menu or just a paper take out one. I of course would have paid the cost to have it sent out, but I was met with a condescending attitude and jeered at by someone who called himself a manager and wouldn't share his name with me, which I didn't appreciate, so here goes! The good first: I had a life changing experience here with a friend and mentor who took me out to breakfast at this spot. The decor was great, it was well lit with natural sunlight and the menu choices were plentiful. The food was decent (a little bland, but it was healthy) and the portions were great for the price. The bad: Though seated right away since it was before the Sunday brunch-time rush, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to come over to our table even just to bring us water or take our food orders. To even get someone to us, my friend had to ask another server if someone was coming over. We also spilled some drink by accident, and no one ever brought us dry placemats, basically only bringing new coffee over. Food = a bit on the bland side. Took a long time again for someone to come over and process the bill, as my friend had somewhere to be in the afternoon. Bottom line: The customer service could use some major overhauling and maybe put some spices/flavor in the food?
