  I wish I would of done my homework and read all the reviews and maybe my dog would be a lot better today. I took my pet because he had some sort of infection on his paw. They (Dr. Kim) gave my dog anesthisia, cleaned him up, prescribed antibiotics and bandage him up. The visit cost me $270.00 and I was told to bring him back in three days. Three days later, I brought my dog back for what I though was going to be a bandage removal. Instead they (Dr. Kim) changed the bandage and the assistant brought him back and said he needed more time to heal. As I'm trying to leave, I was told that I had to pay $35.00 for the bandage. I payed but when I got home y realized that it was a little steep for a bandage change and call to speak to the doctor. The secrectary answer and said that the doctor was busy and that she will pass along the message to call me. I explained to her that I though it was very unprofessional of them not to even show me the wound and tell me about the extra charge. I also explained that I though that the visit should have been considered a follow up and that the bandage should be covered under the first visit. The secretary said that she noted my complaint and that she will tell the doctor (Dr. Kim) to call me back. I received a call about an hour an a half later from the secrectary telling that the doctor said that the bandage needed changing because the wound was not healed and that charge stands. I was told to call Monday and file a complaint with someone else there at the office. I removed the bandage three days later thinking my pet would be healed only to find the bandage soaked in blood, the wound still open and swollen. I went ahead redressed the wound and being 8:00 pm, I will take me dog to someone else. Please take the time to read all these complaints, there're real. Please go to Yelp review and see the reviews for this place and make your decision then. Love your pets and dont fall for the ""bring your pet on this day and save half of"" special, you'll pay more at the end.

  They watch my dog when i am away, walk my dog every day, and have actually become friends through the process. They are wonderful! And anyone would be lucky to have their pet taken care of by them.

  Very passionate doctors: I recently moved from another state, my cat was very sick with urinary blockage, I don't know but to do, looking for a vet , one of my friend mentioned about ambassador, they save my cat. Thanks again ambassador

  I took my dog in on sunday my reg. vet was closed]for an infected paw.turns out it was an imbedded foxtail.he had it removed,got meds and bandages and is doing fine.we got in right away,the man at the front desk was really sweet and i was so happy there was a sunday option for us. b/c of the negative reviews i probably wouldn't go here for an emergency again but for the basics it is good and reasonable.

  Everytime I go this hospital, I am very happy with their friendly service. It was thankful that they open 7days a week. exam room clean and neat. Doctors are really friendly and professional. When My dog had an accident on sunday I am almost panic because i couldn't find any dog hospital near La crescenta unitil open 4 pm. while my dog examed x-ray at ambassador dog and cat hospital front staff gave me tissues and a cup of water and doctor ( even i didn't know she was doctor) came to me to explain my dog be ok and hugged me. I am really relief there is Ambassador dog and cat hospital.

  just had a great experience here. It was a Sunday and so most of my go-to vet options were closed. A friend mentioned she recently took her cat to Ambassador and had a good experience so I decided to give it a try: they're open from 10-5 on Sundays. We got there at noon and were seen by 12:15. The front desk staff were friendly and present. The waiting room was remarkably clean. Both the vet tech and the vet were engaging and warm. Because the cat I brought in to be seen was recently adopted from a shelter, the vet waived her exam fee and only charged us for the prescriptions. She even provided enough of the Rx so that in the event that the other feline in the house came down with the same symptoms, another trip to the vet would not be required. Amazing.

I am convinced it's a crush . . . or those treats are doggone divine! But how could any four-legged creature resist?
