In 2009 the original owner sold this liquor store to an asian guy, which remodeled it, and made a lot of improvements, such as new and bigger coolers, new cashier machines, more professional employees and services, there is also more space to walk in between the isles, now you can find many different kind of items than before, there is a variety of liquors, sodas, and beers to choose from, Mexican items are present at the store as well as some beers from Guatemala, and El Salvador. they have a whole side plenty of almost all kind of chips, at the regular price of .99 cents, and some at the price of 35 cents or 3 for a Dollar (is not that amazing?)pieces of bread, candies, .50 cents sodas (at door number 2), scrash lottery tickets, charcoal, ice bags, caps and bowls noodles, soaps, downy, juices, milk, ham, ice cream, water, calling cards, energy drinks, etc. etc. they have also an ATM machine, they accept your debit card, and EBT cards (Food Stamps and Cash Purchase) the schedule goes from 7:30 am to midnight and from 7:30 am to 1:00am on Fridays and Saturdays, The bad things: 2 of the employees does not speak English very well, so is a little hard to communicate with them, another bad thing is that some times whe you get ther you could find outside the store asking for some change (coins) to spare, the 3 bad thing and the last one, is about the parking, the space to park your car is small, and at the street there are only space for 2 cars and you can stay just for about 5 minutes, thaks God the service is fast and friendly, the over all review for this store is as for my opinion 3 stars, I recommend you to visit it is you are in the area, on weekend at night they have security service, which make your visit more safer.
I am a businessman . I took a truck out of the local dealership. I used this truck as a logistics tool to move furniture around town. I have a business permit and with a seasonal job as a union plumber i make a living. After five and a half years of making payments on this truck the repo company took my truck after being one month late on a payment. This was a credit union account. Im ok with this I now have one less payment to worry about. At around the time that this happened to me i was asked to volunteer at PanAm. I was asked by my daughters school if I could volunteer four hours at the bank for a web cast. My daughter was part of the web cast and we were invited to the buffet. That evening inspired me. I heard a lot of promise. The speakers that knight seemed to want the community to be more involved with its bank. I felt welcomed and all the talk about the way this bank can help local business men made me feel welcomed. I would welcome a representative from this bank to get in touch with me and see if we can prosper.
They are friendlier than your average corner Liquor store/ Mart. They remember you, say hello with a smile and will be happy to sit and jib jab with you as long as there is not a line or another person waiting. They have great munchies, good drinks, decent prices and good specials. The only negative I would have to say AND THIS GOES OUT STRICTLY TO MY FELLOW ALCOHOLICS ONLY.......WHO WOULD UNDERSTAND. When you ARE DRINKING (and of course will never do it again) , they don't open until 7am. That SUCKS. But , you can always goes a little farther up and buy something from Von's at like 6am I think. I was in there at 6 buying milk and some dude was buying Gin...(seriously? What am I talking about, there were plenty of those mornings). Anyways, hope this helps, I hate when I look for HOURS on the directory page and they don't list. Also, the Venice Store is NOT OPEN 24 HOURS. Thanks for reading. MEGA ME
