This year was my first year at St. Gregory Nazianzen School and what a great year. My children had attended public school for the last 4years and we tried a private school for the first time. WHY DID WE WAIT!!!!! Private school is definitely the way to go. Every sacrifice is worth it and I will continue for their entire education. Saint Gregory has a quality education with high academic expectations, it’s definitely a Westside school found in the mid-Wilshire area and not as costly. The area is beautiful and different from other local schools. The new principal is changing from a traditional set of learning to a collaborate way of learning. I can’t wait for next year where many new things will be implemented. Starting with 5-8 being departmentalized and focused on high school preparation. More to come…

While baptized and raised a Catholic, I (like many) spent a good number of years away from sacraments, saints, Sunday Mass. When I happened upon Blessed Sacrament, I did not instantly become a church regular, but did feel drawn to them with their outspoken acceptance of all God's children (including gays, the homeless, ex-cons), their thought-provoking homilies (the Jesuit order is the thinking man's Catholicism), and their dedicated community outreach. Attending this church has brought a fresh perspective to my life; I always feel renewed after attending Mass. I don't follow every church rule and have my share of trouble being a good Christian, but Blessed Sacrament welcomes me and I am proud to come to her.
You can find God's love with skin on it here. You can find awesome humble singers, musicians, and all kinds of people singing praises and being thankful for each other and all of their blessings. Miracles happen here and at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday the Gospel Choir is a true blessing to young and old. They have a Prayer Warrior Network that will cry out to the All-Mighty for help when you or a family member or friend is in need! The door is open to all. You may also bring a friend.
