Absolutely the best place if your loved one needs hospice or palative care. I had bad experiences with other hospices (Vitas) that were so bad I ended up having to move my mother in with my family where I could look after her myself. All they cared about was over- medicating and charging the medicare for equipement that was not needed. Once in my care Careline was sent over for pallative care. I was immediately suspicious but I could tell right away that they were different. They truly cared about my mother and immediately brought in help. Unlike Vitas we always had the same nurses and caregivers who came when they said they would and were always available when I needed them. Betty (nurse) and Penny (caregiver) were kind a went well beyond what they were asked to do. Betty came on the morning that my mom became seriously ill. She was with me when she died and stayed with me most of the day. She made all the calls and stayed until the body had been removed. Chaplin Terry and the social worker also came and stayed for a good part of the day and poor Penny even came when it was her day off. Towards the end I was on the phone to Careline at all hours of the night nearly everynight and they always answered. The last week my mother was alive they called me every night to check and see if i needed anything. I never felt alone with Careline and am so grateful that I had them. For me there is absolutely no comparison Careline is what Hospice is supposed to be, Vitas is what happens when greed and money take over.

Careline Hospice is one of those establishments where they really make you feel involved in the care they are providing for our loved ones. They are a small team of nurses and social workers who go above and beyond what is expected of them. I love this company
