The first thing I noticed when I walked through the doors of K9s Only is that it smells nice, maybe even better than my house! The reception area is warm and comfortable, and the staff immediately made me feel at ease. They're super nice to the dogs and the people, too! Their spa area is to die for, so of course, I had to get my dogs massages and swim passes since they all love the water. It's great that they are able to get special attention while they are there. Let me just say this place is fantastic! They don't have all that stupid kids gym equipment (what would a dog do with that anyway?) they have a big indoor/outdoor park with kiddie pools and a lounge area and someone out there to play with them and make sure they get along. And the inside kennels are very clean and comfortable! The suites are amazing. Overall, I would recommend this place highly. My dogs had fun and seemed really attached to the staff, which I think tells a lot.
K9's Only is incredible. The staff is amazing and the place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owners of K9's also operate a rescue organization, New Leash on Life, which rescues dogs from shelters and trains and rehabilitates them in order to secure forever homes for them. I adopted my dog from New Leash, which is how I found out about K9's. My boy was amazingly well behaved and disciplined when we first got him, but as the months went on he became excessively protective of us. We tried K9's. The owner, Bobby, and head trainer, Sharon, are unbelievably talented with dogs and the difference their training made with my dog is indescribable. We've done both private and group training and the results speak for themselves...absolutely worth the money. I definitely recommend K9's for boarding...the facility is top-notch and the attention your dog gets is great.
After having knee surgery and being told not to walk my pooch for 8 weeks I decided to find a day care center for him. I settled on K9's Only as it was close by and based on reviews. So far so very good. Buckwheat has been to 1/2 day care twice and has come home a happy and tired little boy (yippie). As a germaphobe I like that K9's Only is kept clean and that dogs are screened for entry. Also, unlike going to a dog park I don't have to worry about what's coming home with us (yikes). I'll be boarding him there shortly and only wish that it was an extra $18/day for full yard play time. But knowing that he's safe is key for me.
