Came here on a crowded Saturday afternoon to look for a receiver to replace my old Sony. Since I'm not ready to make the leap - or the financial commitment - to HDTV yet, I just wanted something simple that would work with my current, albeit somewhat outdated, home theater system. After looking at several models in the $250-500 range, I decided that it might be best to try to get my old receiver repaired for about $125 or so until I'm ready to replace the entire system. Then my friend happened to see a newer model Sony receiver minus a few bells and whistles on display for $150! I checked out the hook-ups in the back of the unit and though I would not be able to use my rear speakers, which don't have the best sound anyway, I could still connect my left, right and center speakers and get decent audio quality from my TV. I happily scooped up the last box from the display and made my way to the registers to check out. The layout of this store is a bit different from other Best Buy stores I've visited. And as others have mentioned, it is a bit small, and the parking is crazy. However, I got a good deal, the lines were short, and I'll likely shop here again.
“I want to let everybody know how fantastic the E-Geniuses Technician was. He has helped me numerous times with my computer, when it has completely crashed, when there are icky thing on it (virus, etc) and has always been available if I have had a question about anything. In fact let me tell you how dedicated he is to helping his customers. He even came on Thanksgiving Day! I type medical reports at home and my computer died. I was freaking out, not knowing what I was going to do when a friend of mine mentioned he knew a good company that fixes computers. Well he called and the technician came over to my house on Thanksgiving Day and fixed my computer. Let me tell you, it was a lot of work on his part. He always has a smile on his face and takes the time to tell you (in words that we would understand) what is going on with our computer. I cannot say enough good things about him, only if you ever need anything done to your computer, an E-Geniuses Technician is the person to do it. The technicians are reliable, very HONEST and will not rip you off. I could go on and on, but it would take forever to tell you how special the technicians at E-Geniuses are.”
I had a bad experience at Staples Canada, but with Jonas serving me from Best Buy made My Experience very Memorable! Jonas was one of the most helpful sales representatives that I have ever met in such a long time who was honest, caring, concerned and understanding towards my needs and budget who found me exactly what I was looking for without trying to suck out as much money as possible like Staples Canada was trying to do. All of the problems that I had with the Acer Laptop that Staples Canada had recommended, I am Not having with my HP Laptop & this comes with a Built-In CD/Dvd Player unlike the Acer one which did Not even have one Built-In which sucked! Jonas NOT only sold me a Labtop, but was very knowledgeable in his expertise and answered All of my Questions, Comments and Concerns in full! Jonas was so helpful that he even took the time to help me transfer all of my picture folders from my Pin Drive on to my Brand New Hewlett-Packard Laptop. Thank you. Howard Paul Shore
