I ordered the po boy shrimp sandwich with the mac and cheese. the mac and cheese definitely gets a 5 however the sandwich had definitely too much bread. My friend ordered the slap your mama fried chicken. this was good enough but I didn't really like their hot sauce. overall I would go back and definitely get the mac n cheese.
The food is just okay but the live music is great in addition to the friendly, companionable clientele. It's really easy to talk to the people at the next table because you're so close to them. They only get 3 stars because the service is slow, don't go when you're hungry..LOL
Great Cajun stand in the Farmer’s Market. Favorites are the étouffée, the jambalaya, the shrimp and oyster po’ boys and the seafood gumbo. This is also my go-to place when I have a hankering for collard greens. Make sure you save room for the beignets and chickory coffee.
