We placed our order with ETO Door on Augu t 7th, after being told that it would take 3 week for the door to hip to u . I contacted ETO on Augu t 24th and wa told that the door would hip on Augu t 29. When I had not received tracking information by Augu t 31 t I cont...moreacted ETO again and wa told that they would not hip until September 7th. I called on September 7th to verify that they were hipping and wa told that they were not going to hip until the 12th. They finally hipped the door on the 14th. ETO did not contact me with any of the change to the hipping date. When the door finally arrived 3 of the 8 door were damaged due to poor packaging when hipping. (The wood door were placed directly on top of other door with nothing to protect them from the crew in the weather tripping and a thre hold wa damaged beyond repair). I notified ETO within the 24 hour of delivery. I wa ent a claim form which I immediately filled out and included the required photo . I have left multiple phone me age , and email ince then. After over a week of my phone call not being returned I wa finally referred to Leigh (the manager) on Friday, September 28th. Leigh told me that he would look into what wa going on and would get back to me on Monday, October 1 t. (Leigh a ured me that he alway returned phone call the day that he received them even if that meant he had to tay late). I have not heard from him ince even though I have left multiple phone me age and I have al o emailed. I ju t got off the phone with ETO. I a ked to peak with Tal ( ee ETO' re pon e to one of the previou negative review - exten ion 41 i for the general receptioni t and not Tal' ) and wa told that they ju t implemented a new cu tomer ervice policy and the receptioni t tran ferred me back to leave a me age on their tandard cu tomer ervice line voice mail. Who know if I will ever get the damaged door replaced. I may have to di pute the charge with my credit card (if it i not too late). It eem that ETO get good recommendation a long a there i no problem with your order. However if omething goe wrong with your order do not expect ervice a they do not offer any!! Update: After I po ted my review I wa contacted by Tal (ETO' pre ident) a well a by a few other in the company. They quickly rectified the ituation and ent me out replacement door immediately. The ervice I received once Tal got involved wa excellent! The replacement door were packaged well and arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I would have given them a 5 tar review had they re ponded in thi manner in the fir t place. I have adju ted my review from 1 tar to 3 tar .view less

Originally called the LA location and reque ted a quote for a door. The guy who provided the quote wa really helpful and friendly. But the hipping wa higher than expected due to the door being hipped from CA to NY. So I noticed that the company had a location in NY. ...moreI called and reque ted a quote for the ame door. Like the fir t time, I didn't have a model number and I don't peak the \"door trade\" language. I had dimen ion and tated that it wa a ba ic lab - olid wood. The NY guy eemed agitated that I wa a novice door buyer - aying that he had 5,000 type of door . So I further elaborated - dimen ion , that it wa a ba ic lab, no panel , olid wood, no pre-hung required, and that I wa going to paint it, o the cheape t wood door of thi kind. In literally 2 econd he ay it will be like $850 + $195 in hipping. I told him that I got a quote from their California for $176 + $195 hipping. Then he went back to the \"I have 5,000 type of door , I don't know what you want\". The thing i , the LA guy a ked me que tion and located the door that I needed no problem. He wanted to help me. The NY guy didn't want to be bothered. So, five tar for the LA location and one tar for the NY location. Come to find out, the NY location i ju t a how room and the door would need to come from LA anyway. In any ca e, the door including hipping from LA i till cheaper than buying locally in Brooklyn - by $200. Maybe the NY guy wa having a bad day, but hi lack of good cu tomer ervice and a total mi quote tarni he the image of the company in general. To the LA guy - thank for your help and great cu tomer ervice!!view less

Finally, it’ important to manage interaction and be available to the cu tomer. Paula ha demon trated all of the e qualitie in dealing with a recent in tallation problem I had with one of the three door , in my new home. Paula ha a po itive attitude, attention to detail, follow up and communication kill that were focu ed on my need by thoroughly under tanding the problem. She then took the required action to olve my i ue, and I hould add thi wa accompli hed within day . Her action will inevitably come back to ETO in an equally po itive way now and in the future. When you put the right taff in place, you et the proper foundation for cu tomer relation ucce .
