This place closed down to years ago it has moved off of the loop behind that like the sonic off of what is it HG mostly or below ends or whatever that is but the one off of enterprise Street is shut down it is now called Longview animal care and adoption center

The phone number for the Humane Society has been disconnected!! Please correct this issue, I am sure that I will not be the only person who will be searching for this phone number.

Someone needs to DO Something PLEASE these place is a disgrace most of the employees don't give a DARN sit there and drill you about payment etc HELP these Dogs we are there only Voice. Please

Conditions are deplorable. 80% of their animals are starved and so skinny you can see their ribs. Adopted a dog on death row and was told she was cat tested and did well with them as well as did well with other dogs. Her first day in my home she tried to kill my cat and attacked my other dog. The shelter tried to turn it back and say they didn't know my dog was a female which I had told them (and put in writing) for them several times during the process.

This was the worse experience ever! If you're looking to adopt a pet, DON'T GO THERE! I drove to longview one saturday, picked out a beautiful puppy to adopt. I filled out the adoption papers, they put a collar with my name around the puppies neck. The facilty worker gave me written instructions on how to go online to pay my adoption fee that following wed (which was my payday). I did exactly what she told me to do at 3am that wednesday morning. When i got off work that wednesday eve, i had a voicemail on my cell saying they had a parvo outbreak & needed to get the puppies out asap. Knowing i've already paid for & filled out adopton papers for my puppy i felt secure that i could pick her up the next day. To my great disappointment the next morning when i called to verify the pick up time, I was told they sent my puppy to a rescue & they had no clue where my money went. Three weeks later they were still trying to find it! And i had no puppy & no refund. THATS JUST WRONG, HURTFUL & UNFAIR! Do not do business with those people!

Perfect place to look for a new family member. The animals are well taken care of, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, and the building was clean and professional. Would recommend to any animal lover!!
