- General Info:
- Christina began her career as an integrative bodyworker in 2009 at Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Since then she has earned certification as a Reiki Master Teacher, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Integrated Positional Therapist, Thai Yoga Massage Therapist, and has studied a variety of body therapies including Neuromuscular, Acupressure, and Myofascial Release. She has had the privilege of touching thousands of peoples lives while working in private practice and at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health; North America’s largest yoga retreat center. In her practice, Christina uses Eastern and Western bodymind techniques that work to address all layers of the self. Her approach is intuitive, healing, and genuinely respectful of the individual and their process. She is passionate about helping herself and others grow and claim the health they desire through embodiment. The state of embodiment is a natural state that implies feeling safe in connecting to the body and its perceptions and sensations outside the realm of thinking. The body can be used as a doorway — not the obstacle — to personal growth, healing, and spiritual transformation. Christina is currently studying Somatic Psychology at Naropa University to deepen her understanding of the bodymind connection.
