This SPCA is a KILL FACILITY!!! PLEASE adopt here!!!! Let me start with this: I am an upstanding citizen. I obey all the laws. I have the means to care for and nurture any animal I take into my home. Plus I love animals more than most people and would never harm them in any way . I had a very bad experience with a manger here She tried to keep me from adopting a dog who had been there a long time and would probably have ended up euthanized. She didn't think my dog would get along with him. She tried to talk my husband out of this dog as well. My husband almost fell for this crazy manager's attempt to stop the adoption UNTIL he saw OUR dog with our future adoptee. I know my dog better than I know myself and I could tell she liked the dog I wanted to adopt. I had to practically fight to get this dog. Even the other employees/volunteers at this place thought the dogs did great together!! We have had him now for 3 mos. and he is doing great with my other dog! THEY LOVE EACH OTHER! Don't you think they should allow adoptions under good circumstances instead of trying to stop them???? I even told them that if didn't work out betweeen the two dogs that I would make sure our adoptee got a good home! Needless to say, I called and reported this incident to higher ranking person at the SPCA. A friend of mine also had VERY VERY bad experiences there. She was a volunteer there and I can't tell you all of the lies she saw going on at this place! PLEASE ADOPT FROM HERE TO SAVE THE HELPLESS ANIMALS THAT GET IN THEIR CLUTCHES!!!! I give this place ONE STAR FOR THE VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE but 4 stars for the facility and its good employees/volunteers!!!!
