Lil' Critter Dog Grooming

My dog Savi loves going to see John at Lil' Critters. John's place is a "no frills" shop. It's clean and the prices are very reasonable. We've been going there for a number of years now and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Been going to John for 20 years and 3 dogs. This is a no frills shop, clean, and reasonably priced. John is a TRUE natural with dogs, any dogs and all dogs. I know many people like to think they have a "gift" with animals, because a friendly dog wags their tail at them, but John is an example of somebody who really does have that gift that others envy. Even the meanest of dogs, that nobody would go near, he doesn't even use a muzzle. He just knows how to handle them by pure instinct. I really can't speak highly of him enough.

My dog Dakota can be temperamental but needed to be groomed. I took Him to Little Critters where John was very warm and understanding of how to react to my dog being skid-dish and at times a bitter. Not only did he do a great grooming job but my Dakota really loves him and even gives him kisses which is great ! the review on his phone skills "being deplorable at best" is really baffling to me since I have never had a problem getting thru to him, I will continue to go to him with all my pets because I trust him that much!!

My Mom first started going to Lil Critters 20 years ago with our Westies and Cairn terriers. I knew I saw something special in John then - how he truly enjoys his clients and they enjoy him.



Since then I've returned to Lil Critters - regardless of where I've lived as I wouldn't trust my son to the care of anyone other than John. Casey actually gets excited when I tell him we're going to go see 'Uncle John' as I refer to him as.



I've recommended Lil Critters to all of my neighbors - who have come back to thank me for the great recommendation and now like me wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

I have been coming to Lil'Critters for 18 years. All of our dogs do not shed, therefore, it is important to maintain good grooming. I have not always been great at taking care of their coats. John has always come to my rescue. One of our dogs was an Old English Sheepdog. Grooming Daphne was no easy task. John always had the patience and took the time to totally comb her out before grooming.



The best think I can say about going to see John is that I fall in love with my dogs all over again when I pick them up. They always look great.

My poodle has been going there for 10 years and we've always had great experiences there. JOhn, the owner/groomer is wonderful with all animals. My dog loves to go there and responds to him positively s I know that my liitle guy is always treated well. He just had a haircut and he looks SO handsome that I just had to put a comment in here so that others would know that as groomers go, this is the place! If you have any special instructions - like if your dog has an injury or an allergy, etc. - John always follows them and will report to you anything he might encounter. It was John who first noticed a problem with my dog's eyes. I took my poodle to the vet immediately and then to a dog eye specialist and we were able to treat the problem with medication because John noticed the problem so we caught it in time before it became a serious issue. You can feel confident that your pet will be treated well and will look fantastic after a visit to Lil Critter.

The owner was very nice and very helpful. The main thing I like he was very honest.and another plus is he dosent sedate any dogs,Iam going to tell all my friends
