Established in 1993, Buca Di Beppo is a chain of more than 90 family-style Italian restaurants. It serves a variety of appetizers, salads, pasta, sandwiches, pizzas, entrees and desserts. The restaurant also offers several types of beverages, beer and wines, such as Italian soda, martini, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, white zinfandel, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and Sangiovese. In addition, it offers group dining options and has a team of professional staff members that assists its customers with event planning and menu selection. The restaurant provides a range of Italian-inspired, family-style banquet packages, such as Classico, Tradizionale, Supremo and Glorioso. More expensive than your average Italian.

The food is good, but not THAT good...doesn't quite justify the pricing, but I think the experience of dining in is the big redeeming factor here. Great service, lively or romantic atmosphere, depending on where you sit, time you go. Get a carafe of wine and take your time enjoying the large portions.

This is not going to be the best Italian food that you have ever eaten, but if you can relax, and enjoy a crowd you will have plenty of food and fun. The restaurant serves a lot of food and it is somewhat cafeteria food in nature. I enjoy the people watching here, and the servers are pretty enjoyable. They usually seat you promptly and the serving sizes are generous. \r I felt that the food and drinks were pretty fairly priced and that the pace of the table service was perfect. You can enjoy your meal without feeling pressured by the wait staff.

A NICE PLACE FOR A PARTY WITH A LARGE GROUP

I come from a large Italian family, and we chose Buca to celebrate my mother's\r birthday. There was no problem accomidating such a large group although we phoned\r ahead for reservations. The food was ok but I felt it was a little too expensive. We\r all really loved the whole atmosphere thing going on there, so Italian and festive.\r I would probably go back for another large group party.

the salad was tasteless, the pasta reminded me of a grade school lunch program and the veal marsala- the meat itself was not only tough and grissly, but the ""marsala"" sauce was reminiscent of grape jelly. in fact, it was so awful that i went back to another location and tried again- even worse. a rating of 0.1 wouild be more than charitable- could be the worst restaurant ever.

The food is above average, in that it comes pretty close to the Italian food I enjoyed at my Mom's and Grandmother's houses. I love the pizza. It's close to the real thing served in Italy. Not recommended for couples. Go with a bigger group; the bigger the group, the less expensive it is.

Saying this is great Italian food is like saying McDonald's is high cuisine. You get a lot of OK food cooked by high school students for not a lot of money. Great place to go with big groups. But, if you think this is GOOD Italian food then you've never had good Italian food.

I may not be Italian; however, I truly enjoyed the food, and excellent service I have received from Buca. In fact, I recommended it to several friends and they called to thank me for the wonderful time they had as well. If you are up for great conversation and interesting atmosphere you should definately give it a try!

bucas is great but could be better if they would just stop over cooking there pasta.its to soft.other wise everything else is great.cool clutterey decor,friendly servers,slightly high priced but the veal marsala is wonderful,its my personal favorite .everything is served family style.a small pasta dish is 1 whole pound of pasta.you get very large portions.2 people could never eat one of the small portioned dishes they offer.youll always have a doggie bag to take home.i go there when i want to get my fill of garlic,and bread dipped in olive oil.

Buca di Beppo's is great! From the minute you walk in the door the atmosphere is so peppy! It is so thoughtfully designed and decorated that you just want to go exploring. The staff and management were very friendly and guide you through the entire night from the time you sit down till you walk out the door smiling from ear to ear. I give Buca di Beppo a perfect score, they thought of everything!

Perfect, Great value, Nothing to hide

I went to the Buca in Utica and sat at the kitchen table. Yes an actual table in the kitchen. We were a party of four and had an absolute blast. I is obvious that these people take a lot of pride in what theydo not to mention proud. The time and effort they took to entertain and show us all the food they were creating was amazing. The Chef was absolutley the greatest, he gave us a great Buca experience. Being European trained, Chef explained to us why Buca is different then other restaurants and he proved to us why they nothing to hide. BUCA DI BEPPO is HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
