We brought our precious Great Dane to VCA to be cremated after our regular vet had put her down. We couldn’t stand the thought of our Sadie not being with us. The staff at VCA was so careful and loving with her during the intake process. A few days after we dropped her off we received a condolence card from them in the mail. When we went to pick up Sadie’s remains she was in a very nice urn with her name on it along with her paw print, a lock of her hair, and a certificate stating her name, our name, and date of her cremation. To say that I am pleased with VCA’s service and treatment of Sadie and us is an understatement. I am truly touched with how much this company cared about our loss. Thank you VCA for taking exceptional care of our girl!

We love this vet and all the doctors there. they have always taken excellent care of all our animals. They called me back when I had a question after an appointment with them an then going to the groomer somewhere else and they advised me of how the groomer should have done during the grooming releasing a sack. That is regularly done during a grooming something I had no idea about with out the doctor telling me and they don't do grooming there so this tells you that they really do care about the animals they see the fur children to the owners! they did not have to tell me nothing in regards to that! anytime I have needed to have either of them checked they work them in right away and always call back to follow up on there status at home! I will agree it is a bit pricey but hospitals are that for anyone and if you consider your four legged fur child as family you would figure the same thing! I had taken them to a vet after I moved to Murfreesboro and went to Animal care clinic in Smyrna and they had a nice facility but they don't care about the fur children only the green dollar from the receptionist to the doctor and even the tech that trim nails or take blood! It is much further to return to Ragland & Riley but the care and knowledge of knowing they will get what is needed and not all this up charges for more than needed. keeps us at ease to know all is good and it also keeps us returning for additional care for anything from a tick bite to pregnancy. Ragland and Riley is the pace to go for the best fur child doctor! I have never gotten any treatment like in these negative reviews below I feel the family may have waited to long to go and this is the result they had to deal with sorry to hear.

Just a horrible awful uncaring vet. I brought my cat in because he hadn't eaten in a week. He was seen by Dr. Mc Cratic. She ran some tests on him and charged me $275.00. I was sent home without a diagnosis. On top of that they were supposed to call me with the results of my cats thyroid test. They never called with the results or just to check on him. He suffered for 4 more days and died. I am devastated.

Dr. Ragland and his staff are ...

Dr. Ragland and his staff are so professional and courteous. I started bringing my boxer there after a recommendation from a family member. I have no doubt that Dr. Ragland's expertise and the use of the latest equipment provided me with bonus time with my pet for which I am so grateful. I would recommend Ragland and Riley to everyone who owns a pet.

Latest equipment Poor care

We almost lost our dog when we allowed this group to clean his teeth under anesthesia. He is a member of our family but the staff here do not seem to understand how much one can love a dog. They sent him home still very much sedated. We had to stimulate his breathing all night. When we reported it to them, they were not concerned at all. Very scarey if you love your pet like we love ours.

killer hospital

I don't recommend this hospital because its NOT a hospital unless you have green stuff!!! They DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL.!!! A hospital is where you take your sick and dying animal which needs help.... they tell you how long your pet is going to live and do nothing about saving him or her!!! I just lost not only my family member but a expensive breeding pup!! In these times trying to make it is hard but hey they dont' care, they have top of the line equipment and sit in their fancy office laughing and giggling with out a care in the world! I LOST MY DOG BECAUSE OF FAILURE TO TREAT MY BABY!!!! Beware if you are going to this place or any other.....

Since I moved here back in 200...

Since I moved here back in 2006 I have been taking my animals to this clinic. They are the best place you can take your animals. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The people whom work there make you feel like family.
