Good Food, Great Location
The food and service were excellent. We loved eating in such pretty surroundings -- the vineyard. The almond appetizers were off the hook!! So good. The restaurant is easy to find and in the East Bay. Valet parking is available. The outside seating is lovely and if you are lucky you may witness a wedding. We skipped the desserts because they were not appealing. I plan to return very soon.

Driving out to Livermore for dinner is an adventure in itself. This Vineyard has a beautiful setting, but alas, horrible food. Nearly inedible food. We had the 4 course show-off menu with Desert and Wine. The Wine was OKAY. Its not worth the drive!! Even if you live in the area its not worth the drive, which is a pity because it seems like a very well run place with a great atmosphere, but what's the point if the food is bad?

I love this place
The food at Wente is soooo good and the setting is beautiful....a great place to enjoy a meal on the patio in the summer or anytime. ....and to top it off they have great wine.

Wente employs a creative menu and friendly staff at their excellent restaurant. The house wine is from local grapes and compliments the fresh ingredients from the menu. A lot of the dishes are simple but have an imaginative twist, are presented beautifully, and are very flavorful. Recs.: Pork Chop, Burger, Chardonnay

The food at Wente was very good, but not good enough to justify the price. The service was friendly, but slow. All in all, it was a fine experience, but I expected more for the price and the location.
