Contreras Chiropractic

Almost two years ago I was having sciatica pain and other problems - couldn't get comfortable sitting or standing. About this time I read Dr. Contreras' personal story in a newspaper ad. I was impressed, and the timing was right, so I marched off to see him. After a thorough examination and evaluation and a treatment program of six months, I was a new woman! Actually, I finished the treatment program a month early and then signed up for the on-going maintenance program. In about two years I have not had a cold or sore throat or any other illness (except a clumsy fall and a broken ankle and ribs). My acid reflux is gone, I have more energy, my one hip is no longer higher than the other, the range of motion in my neck is better, and my overall health is better. It is so important to keep one's body in line and tuned up to keep us running in top notch condition. Dr. C. is THE BEST! He is very knowledgable, friendly, caring, compassionate, considerate, kind and gentle and I am so blessed to have him as my D.C. His receptionist, Sarah, is efficient, friendly and vivacious and a wonderful asset to his office - which is inviting, warm, clean, and a pleasure to walk into. Appointments are scheduled such that there is literally no waiting. Thank you for keeping me in good working order. You ROCK!!

Dr. Contreras has turned my life around by sharing his wonderful knowledge. Before I started treatment with him I could hardly use my right arm, due to a neck injury from years ago. I was pretty scared to get my first adjustment, but with his warm and gentle personality I finally went ahead with his 6 month treatment plan. It was one of the best decisions I've made. I am still currently seeing him and it's been 5 years. I have had some finance difficulties along the way and he has been more than willing to work with me. Outside of his wonderful chiropractic treatment, he is a very generous person.

Being a full fledged baby boomer has given me a perspective on life, that I think closely resembles wisdom. There's a saying that goes "To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid." I've done my fair share of the later, so hopefully now I'm getting to the former. As a young person, my motto was "If it's too loud, your too old", therefore I have tonal tinitus. I've worked hard, and played hard, therefore I have a spine that needs maintenance. Dr. "C" is my man! I found Dr. "C", and Sarah just in time to prevent a couple vertebraes from fusing! Whoya! Like Toby Keith says,"I'm as good once as I ever was." Time marches on, and hopefully with Contreras Chiropractic, so will I.

I met Dr. Contreras when my 15 year old son started complaining about back pain. I was expecting Dr. "C" to find something and it would be taken care of. He did find some scoliosis but I was not expecting him to find something even more surprising. He found that due to the extreme forward positioning of my son's neck - this was causing stress on the nerves surrounding the spinal cord in this area and as a result - the nervous system and signals being sent to the brain from this area were in a constant state of stress. Dr. C can explain it much better than I can but my point is what has transpired as a result of this finding and subsequent treatment. Dr. C started working to straighten out this area of his spine. I have noticed a huge improvement in my son's state of mind. He is less anxious, more focused, more relaxed, and is sleeping better at night. He is doing better in school and is all around a happier person. I never would have thought that the position of one's head and neck can have such an affect on someone's overall well being.

While Dr. C was treating my son, I decided to let him examine me. I am a 44 year old woman with no back problems at all. I have never had back pain or any reason to think I needed to see a chiropractor. But I was there anyway so I conceded to an XRay. I was shocked when I saw the results. My spine was a big S. I had two severe curvatures and a very severe case of scoliosis. I called my mother and asked her if I was ever checked as a child and she said no because back then, they didn't check for that. I immediately started getting adjustments because if I didn't - as I grow older - I would start having back problems guaranteed. I would have had a degenerative condition that most likely would have resulted in surgery and a life time of pain medications. I am SOOOO happy that I listened to Dr. C and let him take an Xray of my back. Everyone should have it done as a preventative measure. I want to grow old pain free. THANK YOU DR. CONTRERAS!

I have seen 3 chiropractors in my lifetime and Dr Contreras is the best of all of them. He is very intuitive and compassionate. I whole heartedly advise a visit to his office if you have headaches, back aches, indegestion, menopause, If you live life YOU NEED A CHIROPRACTOR! this guy is the best

Before going to Dr. C I suffered from lower back and sciatic nerve pain. It was severely impacting my golf game to the point I could only play 9 holes at a time due to the pain. Now I play golf every week and many times play 27 holes in one day pain free! Life is good again! Dr. C and Sarah make a good team, have a great attitude and make every visit a fun time.

My name is Sarah and I want to tell you about my experience at Contreras Chiropractic. I was having headaches all the time and acid reflux like you could not believe. I didn't understand how chiropractic could help me but I wanted to try it, so I try Contreras Chiropractic. He did a very detailed exam, took x-rays and a spinal nerve scan of my back. None the test hurt, however I was surprised at how bad my body was. Dr.C explained everything to me about what the test results meant and gave me a plan to get my health back. One of the things I love about the office is how Dr.C explains everything before he does anything to me. I have been under care for about 2 months and my headaches are almost gone and I no longer have to take my acid reflux medication. I would recommend Contreras Chiropractic to everyone I know and even those I don't. On a side note both my parents, nieces, and my boyfriend see Dr.Contreras.
