Woodmar Learning Center

Woodmar Learning Center is great! They really care about the education of children. They offer affordable rates and their preschool program is outstanding in preparing kids for school!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. The Director Tracy shouldn't be allowed around children. She yells all the time and is very harsh when disciplining children. The staff isn't much better because the director sets the tone. It is a very unsafe place for children. PARENTS, please spend the extra few dollars and go somewhere else.

They have their staff write perfect reviews! What a joke! The building is a giant safety hazard and staff turnover is ridiculous! They lose anyone worth having because they are smart and know not to stick with a shady childcare facility.

I am a single mom of two... This center is not only reasonably priced, but the staff is always friendly and welcoming and my kids love going everyday!

I wouldn't recommend this Daycare to anyone. There is no curriculum which any parent knows, having a good curriculum is the foundation for your child to succeed in their future. The Director herself claims to not care for a curriculum and or cleaning the center. ( You can tell by the Daycare's appearance.) They have had state in and out on allegations of child abuse, leaving a child outside in the parking lot and for not having qualified staff members. The shouting from the Director can be heard from the street and the neighbors complain that the Director is very loud and harsh with the children.. The turn over of staff is horrible, which always says something about the Daycare.( Any good quality staff the Director releases for calling out her violations.) Overall, what is more important the couple dollars you save for an unfit Daycare or your child's safety and education? Find some other Daycare. Horrible experiences!

Woodmar is an amazing daycare center. My first daughter started going there in 1998. She is now 24. She loved the activities that were provided and the friendliness of the staff. My second child has been in that daycare now since she was little (around 2003). The daycare has been updated to add more rooms and a security door has been added to the entrance. Obviously child safety is their number one priority. I've never had a problem with this daycare or the owner. I've been through a divorce and medical problems while having my children in this learning center, which the owner was more then accommodating with. He understands that life happens and work with me on payments the whole time (several years). I would not trust anybody other then woodmar learning center with my children. Me and my family love this place.

My son who is now 9 is part of the before/after school program and has been attending Woodmar since he was 6 months old. My daughter who is almost 1 has been going there since she was 12 weeks old. Woodmar has caring and friendly staff who put our kids first. Their classes are age appropriate and the staff always encourages kids to learn, be fair and care about others. The center director and owner are flexible when I am in need of something and genuinely care about our kids and our family. And that is what Woodmar is, a family. From Thanksgiving dinners to Christmas with Santa and Mrs. Clause, I wouldn't even consider a change, even if I moved. Great job Woodmar, we love you!

I have both of my children at Woodmar learning Center. The teachers there are all very loving, caring, nurturing and helpful. They are all mothers themselves. The program is great. The children learn and grow individually through play and creative activities. The Director is always on site and is available when the parents have questions or concerns. What a great home away from home!!!

I am a single mom of three kids and originally when I started at Woodmar I loved it. However it was short lived. I began having trouble with the director getting involved in my personal affairs with my ex husband by texting him. Needless to say she got warned and never stopped. Then I had two incidents with the owner. He put his hand on my four year old son twice. First one a parent called me and informed me that she saw the owner grab him in a rough way. I confronted him and thought he understood I do not put up with that. Months later my son told me the owner pushed his head down to make him nap!! So inappropriate it's unreal. Then the place is dirty and unorganized. I had my speech therapist meet my twins to do sessions and she even said it was bad. Do not bring your kids to this daycare. It is awful!!!!

I've used Woodmar Learning Center for 6 years and wouldnt recommend anywhere else. This neighborhood center is reasonably priced and convenient in the Woodmar neighborhood. They have a great summer program for school age children. The owner and director have an awesome preschool program which really prepares kids for Kindergarten. Woodmar is awesome!

you will not find a better faciltiy, anywhere. Our child has been going there since she was an infant, and now in first grade she is WAY ahead of her grade level. The Staff goes the extra mile to insure your child is well cared for and prepared for school. recommend to everyone that cares to have the Best for thier kids!

We absolutely love Woodmar! Our son has been there since he's been 3 months and now he's 8months. We can tell he really enjoys it, too. He loves going to "school." Not only is the staff super great but we love how they run things. It's not just a place that babysits your kid while you're at work. They read books, work on crawling, rolling over, exploring toys, etc. They even do other activities like book orders, meeting Santa and Mrs Claus, and for Halloween they decorated everything in a candyland theme. It was so cute! And you can't find anything remotely close for the price you pay. We highly recommend Woodmar!

I have had my kids at Woodmar for about 10 years. They have experienced all aspects of the center. They have a really good summer program for the school agers which allows the kids to have fun and go on educational field trips. During the school year they set aside time for the kids to work on their homework. The preschool program was very effective in having my kids well prepared for Kindergarten. They have always been very flexible with scheduling and really good to the kids. I would recommend them as a daycare provider for any age.

My kids have been going there for almost 6 years now.The education is great, as well as the activities they offer. The staff is flexible and caring. I always recommend Woodmar when I have friends looking for day care providers. Woodmar Rocks!
