DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! Worse service ever. I took my family here for pizza and an order of lasagna and we waited for over an hour and our food never showed up. All of the other patrons who were seated after us had gotten their meals. The server never explained what caused the delay just that she was checking on it. Also, the garlic knots taste like Pillsbury crescent rolls with garlic on top. AWFUL!Like this review?Yes|Flag Abuse
Virgilios Wine Bar & PizzeriaAdd to mybook
What a find in the Littleton suburbs. i have been there at least 10 times now. Trust me when I say this is one of the best Pizza/Italian restaurants in all of the Denver area. There are so many things to try but here is my list. The garlic knots (amazing), the ficohi (heaven), spicy mussels (better then bone fish), burrata with prosciutto di parma (wow), the margarita pizza (best pizza I have ever had), the spina... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag Abuse
We were very excited to try Virgilos as we recently moved near by and it had been highly recommended by both a friend and a neighbor. \r
We arrived and liked the decor with all the wine corks. My wife ordered the ravioli and me and my two boys ordered a large peperoni pizza with just cheese on a quarter of it for one of my sons does not like peperoni. The server said that they could only do half pizza topping... view more
We went to Virgilio’s with another couple for their New Year’s Eve winner pairing dinner. I have been to a few wine dinners but this was by far the best. We started with a aperitif (aperol), the wine selection was fantastic, the dinner was a feast for a king, the dessert and port was amazing and we finished with a digestif (lemoncello) wow!!! On a night that was very busy the service was great, our server Jar... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
We were in Virgilio's last night celebrating New Years Eve, we love the food and it's close to our house. I left EXTREMELY upset and now will be sure to tell EVERYONE that i know how horrible of an owner Virgilio is. We were sitting in the bar area and could hear Virgilio talking to the servers by their computer station. "" What the F%*# are you ordering now?"" the server responded that her ticket was lost and she w... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
What a great restaurant. This place is really beautiful, the cork walls are so cool. It's really nice to find a place that is locally owned that has fantastic food. The homemade mozzarellas, garlic knots & pizza are amazing. The wine list is huge so it may take a few visits to go through it.Like this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
Some of the best pie West of the Mississippi -- OK, I may be exaggerating, but Virgillio's did cut it with both this NY/NJ -ite .
What I liked about this joint is that you can 1/2 and 1/2 the pie without problem. I like white, he likes red sauce, We asked for the following pie:
1. Crispy Thin Crust
2. 1/2 Quatro Formagi ( 4 cheese), basil and garlic, no red sauce.
3. 1/2 Dean Martin, red sauce, real ba... view more
