This was my first time at Romano's. I found them by searching italian rest in littleton and they cam up, i read a few reviews and they seemed like a good place that has been around for a long time so we decided to go there. I have to say that everyone was friendly and the service was good. The food amount was good and taste was good as well. But something happened wheni got home. Explosive Diarrhea. Seriously, i have never had that happen after a meal before. I have not been sick and ...view morethis is not normal behavior for me. I'm not sure if maybe one of the women in the kitchen was a bitter ex or someone in the kitchen just didnt like the way i looked or what but it didnt seem like a normal upset stomach from food my stomach didnt agree with.. But seemed more like someone must have put something in my food cause it was so intense and quick once i got home. I got the shrimp alfredo and my girlfriend got the chicken alfredo. She had no problems at all but i was in the bathroom within an hour of getting home. This is why i think maybe i was sabotaged for some reason. I wont be going back there, too bad cause i kinda liked the place but not worth the aftermath.view less

My family and I have been coming to Romano's Restaurant since I moved to Colorado 20 years ago. I am Italian and love the food and the feel of both locations. It is family owned and ""not fancy and pricey"", it is a great family style restaurant.
Love, love, love it!!!
Where do I even begin? This place looks like a diner, feels like a diner, tastes like a diner and sounds like a zoo (with all the children running around rampant). I ordered the chicken parm and it was too tough to chew through... that texture you get when chicken sits out for days on end (I worked in the food industry so I know). I can only imagine that this place appeals only to people who eat microwaveable meals on a regular basis.
Romano's is a family run business. You enter the restaurant and the kitchen is behind the counter and the delightful smell of home cooking starts you mouth watering.
The foods home style, so no fancy ""presentation"" just good food and plenty of it. Most people take home boxes with the leftovers. I'm from New York City and have eaten Italian in Little Italy and all over the City and Romano's can hang with the best of the family restaurants back East.
Good ol' home cooked Itali...view morean. Pizza's great too.view less
ok, being Italian, being a chef and loving Italian food I have to be honest and fair and say that Romano's is awful. Their, ""homestyle"" noodles are disguisting!! The dried noodles arent much better either. We have been several times, to both locations and the experience is always the same, the servers are fair at best and the place is usually dirty, I mean straw wrappers on the floor, dirty dishes stacked up, nastiness on the walls, etc. \r
The worst thing of all is the food, it...view more is bland, uninspired and pedestrian. You could get better ""Italian"" food from olive garden! It really isnt hard to create good Italian food. Most of the famous dishes from the country are peasant style dishes. It doesnt have to be expensive, fancy or formal, it just has to be good and Romanos falls far far short of the mark.view less
I am 35 years old and have been eating at Ramono's since I was 12. They truly have the BEST stuffed shells I have ever had not to mention the lasagna is to die for. I have been to the East coast and do not really think there is much that can out do Ramono's. I continue to drive out of my way (from Park Hill) to visit Ramano's about once a month (no I do not live in the neighborhood, but used to) as a previous writer pointed out. I highly recommend trying Ramano's whenever you have ...view morethe opportunity.view less
I absolutely love this comfortable, family-owned restaurant. Once you walk in the door, you feel automatically part of the family! Not only do my husband and I choose Romano's for a romantic night out, but the kids love it too. I have taken advantage of the catering services that Romano's offers. It is affordable, convinient, and always a success! Excellent eggplant parmigana, I would recommend this place to anyone with tastebuds!
