Continued from jolene.... I have so many medicines at my house both my 17 year old cat and 10 year old dog have had a cough since she began coming neither have become better only worse I called to say Dixie my dogs cough is worse and I am worried she told me to go buy Mucinex over the counter without examining my dog ON 3 other medicines thyroid cough arthritis ! She has asked to buy special foods for each animal which I have because by this time she had been coming for some time and I trusted her! She had me move a littler box onto a tv tray and push it up to the dresser where the 22 year old cat sleeps so she could just step from her bed into her box ! mind you this is in the middle of my master bedroom ! I love my animals and they would not have lived to be this old if I had not given them the car they have had! In the beginning we had a plan we would see how things worked out and then she would be the one to put the animals down! ! That made me feel good because they would know her.I was on social security and all these items she asked me to buy just went to waste she wanted each animal to habe their own expensive food Then my dad passed away and the bills tripled she rarely had the medications on her van and they had to be ordered or she would call them in to the petsmart vet for me to pick up or kingsoopers! Finally a friend noticed that my days were filled with taking care of sick animals It truly was like a hospice here and I was so tired that I didn't even have time to take care of myself! She also asked us to quit smoking we have a HEPA SMOKE FILTER HOME SYSTEM Finally a friend was here and was in shock what I was going thru! I made an appt with her to again talk about putting the animals down the appt was at 5 pm she showed at 5:45 and began to yell about the dogs bottom She made me cry at this appt BC she made me feel like I wasnt taking care of my pets! I barely made it home by 5 for the appt but did what did it matter she was not there! Later that night I did leave a nasty message on her phone saying how dare you ! BC the way she is formed she sweats I told her I have agreed upon every test blood urine what ever she wanted or needed! by the way I had to assist her with getting blood a couple of times from both the cat and dog and sometimes she would not be able to get a vein so she would have to come back and she would bring someone with to get the blood but then she just had me do it! She also had me assist with the tag removal ! on the last appt she told me it would take at least a month to get the cough RX my dog was on so I needed to warn her in advance a little late for that well almost 4000.00 later in less than a year ! She calls to tell me she will not be my vet anymore! I was always polite to her offering to help her carry her supplies offering soft drinks water ect! She did not offer me any referrals or was not worried if the animals had enough of the RX they needed while I rounded up a new vet! I was out of saline and I posted this on FB worried to death my poor 22 year old cat would suffer without her nightly saline and a vet that would like to remain unknown brought me some saline alone with the website to turn in unfit vets! I really believe that she threw a fit about the gogs bottom BC she was never going to put these animals to sleep for me maybe she did not have the medicine or the know how too but I can't understand why she kept putting it off ! When I first met Dr Lowery she was very nice and her work was very good ! I called because I have two older cats one 22 and the other one 17! I also had a new dog I rescued that had been mistreated and spent 7 of her 10 years of life in a cage so she is a bit deformed on the backside from outgrowing the cage! I was overwhelmed with the animals since I also am disabled as well and have PTS from seeing my 13 year old niece die and 6 months later seeing her 7 year old brother die both in horrible accidents ! anyway she came and talked me out of putting the animals to sleep! Then we began to examine all my animals at first things were good a pricing was reasonable but then she was asking just too much of me ! this animal needed this this this animal needed that and it took me nearly 3 hours to attend to all their medications and needs ! She had the cats on saline drips which I had to give needle and all this took quite a bit of time at this point the cats should have been out to sleep but I trusted her ! Bc my dogs back was a bit deformed she had me washing the bottom with a soap then an liquid formula applied w cotton balls these were purchased from her! then blow dry then A and E As time went on the bills became bigger and bigger! We had appt for a wart removal and she came to the appt with out the kit! I had to send a neighbor to go buy an over the counter kit which basically just blistered my poor dogs face and the wart never went away! She became less caring as time went on! I have a feral cat that took me years to be able to pet and tame she brought an asst. (her assistants changed all the time never once the same and where just regular helpers with no knowledge of vet care) Well this assistant said she could catch my feral cat things were flying out of my closet as she chased my poor cat into the closet clothes coming off shelves in the closet I was truly scared and asked her to stop but she continued dressers pulled out couches pulled out! ! It took me 3 hours to put my house together again but worse almost 4 months for that cat to come out in the open again and for me to be able to pet him continued
