Dr. Mitchell T. Zimmel specializes in the medical and surgical management of foot diseases, deformities and trauma of the foot, ankle and lower leg. Dr. Zimmel takes tremendous pride in his reputation for practicing sound medicine with compassion for each patient. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the William M Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Zimmel obtained his surgical residency at East Orange General Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Zimmel is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Society and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Zimmel has been in private practice in Little Silver New Jersey since 1990. Dr. Zimmel's mission is to provide his patients with outstanding full service foot ankle and lower leg care in a comfortable and relaxing environment. He strongly believes in educating his patients' so that they could be partners in helping to make the best possible decisions in regards to their foot ankle and leg care. We utilize the most cutting edge technology in order to provide the best care to our patients. Dr. Zimmel is married and has two children.
