A store with heart. It has lots of variety from gifts to locally crafted ice cream to baby reusable diapers. it's fun to browse and the owner is genuinely a caring person. It also is active in the community and has a bulletin board in the store. That is one of the signs to me that a store cares about its community and helps to get the word out. I'm not a personal friend of the owner but I hear her praises song by others.
I called the store at @ 11:50 pm - and the young man explained to that the store location wasn't a 24 hour store. I am aware of some locations in the United States, Wal-Mart don't have stores that are always a24 hour convenience store for everyday, but it may be due to the region of the area. But the hospitality of the phone call to that store was pleasant and very courteous.
Target has good-looking stuff. I love the modern look with clean simple lines and colors, and they have a good amount of that. I also love their Global Bazaar that they have at the start of every year. You'll pay a little more at Target than Walmart, but their items look a lot more expensive and better. You get more than what you pay for in home decorative items.
