Rodgers Shoe Service

He needs to close this business. I love my shoes and pay good money for them. I took a peep toe shoe to have a strip glued that goes across my toes. When I returned to get the shoe, he didn't remember how the shoe looked. I had to go home and get the mate to show him. After digging through a bunch of mess, he finally came up with the shoe and of course the work had not been done. After returning a week later, the shoe had dried glue on it and the strip was not glued straight across the toe and had not been tightened. I wore the shoe one time and didn't make it through the entire day before the strip came apart again. I decided I would not bother to go back. This was too good to be true. I thought I had found a good repair shop close to my house, but I was terribly wrong. Please don't bother to use this repair shop. You will not be pleased. You have been warned!!!!

My husband and I took his work boots to Rodger to get new soles put on and some stitching fixed. Rodger told us they would be done in 2 weeks, but after two weeks he told us they would not be done for another week. Then on the day we went to get the boots he kept telling us “they would be ready in another hour”—three times in a row we had to go back to the store that day! Then the soles fell off the boots after only a week of my husband wearing them! We took them back and he said they would take another week to fix. We picked them up again and the soles fell off AGAIN after only 2 weeks of my husband wearing them! We took them back and asked for a refund and Rodger said he would not refund our money because he “didn’t work for free”. He said the bottoms were falling off because my husband was walking in too much mud—we told him they are WORK boots but he didn’t care. He does not stand by his work, he claims to be a business man but he ripped us off! His work is shoddy and his dealings are shady. Do Not take your shoes here because if he can’t fix them, he won’t refund your money!!!!
