The MRI scanner at OrthoArkansas is constructed with patient comfort, safety and dignity in mind. We have two scanners —one in our Little Rock-Midtown location and one in our North Little Rock location. They each can accommodate patients who weigh up to 550 pounds. The state-of-the-art Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5 T is a short-bore magnet that is mainly used for images of the brain, spine and musculoskeletal system.

Computed Tomography
CT scans are noninvasive procedures and can typically be performed in 5-15 minutes. As with MRIs, these images are processed and sent to a radiologist for interpretation.

Physical Therapy
Most spinal conditions are treatable without requiring surgery — our comprehensive spine team first evaluates all nonsurgical options. Customized spine-specialized physical therapy is focused on strengthening and rehabilitating the spine to make it more resistant to injury.
