Kitchens' Pediatric Dentistry

My 4yr8mo old just got a crown replaced, in-office under general anesthesia. We weren't sure it would would work out since she's so young, but it's better for her health than being put under. Even though it wasn't an easy task, Dr. Kitchen was all for it. He went above and beyond by explaining things to my little one, soothing her, and being patient with her. It took all this for the procedure to work out and I doubt it would've worked out with any other doctor. Definitely the people to trust with your dental work! All the staff are lovely and make for the best experience possible. My daughter doesn't yet know she's not supposed to like going to the dentist. Shhhh.

We love the superior service of the Doctors Kitchens and their staff. I can't imagine taking my daughter anywhere else!

We took both of our girls here for their first dental visit. Our oldest is 6 and our youngest is 9 months.



First, when we arrived we were greeted by a really friendly receptionist. She took our information (we had printed the forms from the website and completed them ahead of time) and got us checked in quickly. Within a few minutes (10 at the most) we were called back to one of the offices advising that Dr. Kitchens likes to speak with the patients the first time they come to the office.



Second, after our brief meeting we were taken to the x-ray room for our oldest. The dental assistants were very very nice and put our daughter at ease immediately. She did great with her x-rays thanks to their help. Now, on to the cleaning.



Third, for the cleaning the dental hygenist was great. She explained everything to my daughter in terms she could understand and gave her directions she could follow. Then went out of her way to find a new toothbrush for her in her favorite color.



Fourth, for our youngest there wasn't much they could or needed to do. We just wanted to get her started early with becoming familiar with having her mouth handled. Dr. Kitchens looked at her teeth that had come in and was very gentle and calm with her. When Dr. Kitchens looked at my oldest he was very calm as well. He talked to us and to her while he was looking at her teeth and told her that she had been doing a great job with brushing and that she didn't have any cavaties. Yea for me and for her. :)



All in all, this was an extremely pleasant experience for both myself, my girls, and my husband. We will be back again for their 6 mo check up when its time and will continue to go for as long as we live in the area.

Our family loves this clinic! The Drs and the staff are the best! My kids have been going here for 11 years and has loved every visit!!!

This lady must have been having a bad day to say these things. We have been going to this clinic for years and both Drs are so nice and we have nothing but great things to say about them!
