Updating my review because my order got there fine today and she loved it!! I am still leaving my bad comments below because I hope their shop will read them and GET A FREAKING EMAIL ADDRESS (and answer your phone!). In the end though, they delivered everything on time and the receiver loved them. --------- Their web site does have an email address listed on it, which is insane! It is 2012 and they run an e-commerce site for their small business but do not have an email address??? This makes it very inconvenient to ask a question about your order or even see if it went through. I tried calling them for the last couple hours and their phone is either busy or it rings with no answer. I don't know if they got my order, I don't know what message is on the items, I don't know if there will be substitutions, etc... Their order process pretends to let you enter special instructions so you can give them helpful information about delivery but they limit you to 60 chars (about 10 words)!!! You can hardly type anything using less than 10 words. Seriously? Would the form be too heavy if they let you type say 1000 characters instead of a mere 60? If you try to call or email to give further instructions or just to confirm, you simply can't get a hold of them.
This is one of the best hobby shops around. The owner Mark staffs the store daily and is a wealth of knowledge. He is as honest as they come when recommending products. This is a family business and at times Mark is manning the store solo so sometimes I've have to wait a bit for service. Personally I'd rather wait to talk to someone who knows there stuff than get helped immediatly by some kid in a big box store who has no clue.
These people always have wonderful sales and discounts. I can spend my whole lunch break here during working hours and deplete my checking account, if I'm not careful. I especially love how they set up their inventory during the Holiday Season. Everything is so organized, which makes shopping easier. This is one of my favorite stores.
