Crazy Mike has the best Shrimp and Catfish anywhere hand's down. I've been eating catfish since I came to Arkansas over thirty years ago and this is the best ever! Never muddy or musky tasting. The french fries are fresh cut and worth a trip all by themselves. Don't like fried food? He's got baked fish Raggio, char-grilled and blackened fish too. Mike is a perfectionist and will probably be the one cooking your food. You can't pay less for food this good. A dinner basket will cost from $9.50 or so up to the mid teens. Specials will save you a couple of bucks. The food is usually brought to you or your number called, so tipping's optional. Atmosphere is sea-themed casual, you order at the register, self serve your drink and sit in a comfortable booth. You can inspect the kitchen as you order. It's clean, and so are the bathrooms. Think I'm gushing a bit? Wait till you eat here. I'm not so sure Mike's crazy, it's the effect his food has.

I've never had a able experience out of the many times I've ate here. For all of the people complaining about the wait, when you have a party over 5 you should make a reservation at a nicer establishment like this, that's common etiquette. I've enjoyed every dish that I've tried and service was spot on for the amount of customers they had in house and amount of staff there. I would give 5 star but some of the foods are a tad overpriced. But overall it's a great establishment. Don't let one or two bad reviews scare you off, it's a restaurant and just like any other, it will make some mistakes.
Copeland's is quickly becoming my favorite place to eat. My husband & I have been there 3 or 4 times and ordered something different every time. So far it is all fantastic. They have everything from seafood to pasta to cajun to steaks. All of their recipes are very richly flavored and cooked to perfection. The steaks are the best I've ever had anywhere. I even liked the Copeland's steaks better than Ruth Chris. I've always been too full to get desert but they look incredible, too.
