... I remember when they were still down Paterson, when I was growing up... and they made one of the BEST pizzas anywhere, except for maybe MAIN!!... LINE!!...PIZZ!!.. A!!... RIA!!! (or the frozen ""Tree Tavern"" pizzas from Great Eastern)....
Hey, all you Little Fall-ers... God Bless Carmine...
Sun-Ray had a SQUARE pie (well actually, rectangular, but not thick crust, like Sicilian)... I do remember that ONE Sun-Ray pizza from would actually come in TWO boxes. And their mussels were killer as well. VERY HOT!!!
BTW, does anyone remember Phil's Deli on Main St. (as featured in The Sopranos?) If so, please drop me a line... we probably graduated from PV together (Class of '80).... HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
How f'@#*ed up is that!?!
I do know that Sun Ray took over the old Webber's Inn on Main St. in Signac, near four corners and Holy Family (does anyone remember Monkey Mike and/or The Umbrella Lady?) Jeez, what a dive THAT place was, right next to the tracks (lest we forget Tara's, Crappy's, etc...).. . and yes, I was shown the door at all of them, once or twice, back in the day... when I was 19, 20, 25,30, etc., etc. ...
Is the ""Phone Booth"" still there? Timmy Sabol, you know who you are!!
Anyway, I'll leave you all to your NJ thing... (for the record, I've been living in FLA for the past 20 years, and with no regrets whatsoever)... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Take it easy!!
