I visited this restaurant in 2006-7, and it was wonderful. The food was amazing, the decor was fun. Not anymore. Oh, the decor is still fun but the food is terrible and the service is worse. We were in Little Falls to see some friends celebrate their CD Release. My fiancee and I were really looking forward to a great dinner here. We were not greeted upon entering. We were actually ignored as we were standing not two feet away from the woman who would be our server. We eventually were seated and told they were out of the beer my fiancee wanted, and that we might be too early for the Prime Rib special (starts at 5pm, we were there at 4:30). The server said she would check on the beer, to see if an order might have been placed after all with their supplier. She never came back with a response. When she finally did come back, she forgot all about the beer and proceeded to take our order. The bread and salad were very good. The entrees...my chicken roulade in a creamy tomato sauce and my fiancee's steak tips with penne in alfredo sauce, both so terribly salty it was almost inedible (there are glasses of water on the table). The sauces were the SAME, except mine had tomato puree added to it. Not good. We still had time before the show, so we ordered dessert. We figured, chocolate mousse is pretty hard to mess up. The mousse was fine, but we could not get ANYONE, not our server or any of the others to get us a second cup of coffee. We tried asking. We said ""excuse me"" as they walked by...Nothing. Then, a blur and a breeze at my right arm, as our server goes RUNNING (literally) past our table and FLINGS our bill and three Andes mints at us! No placing it on the table. No asking ""Is there anything else I can get you""? (A cup of coffee would have been nice...) We go up to pay and the server doesn't ask ""How was everything?"" like they normally do because she can tell that she is not going to get a good report, due to the look of disgust on my face. For the prices they charge, and the big lit up sign in the front window touting ""Chefs Trained at Le Cordon Bleu"", they need to go back to school to learn how to use herbs and spices to enhance a dish...not SALT. And they would do well to train their staff on how to treat clientele. We could have eaten at McDonald's. It would have tasted just as bad, but we would have been treated better for less.
